D&D General New Summary and Release Date for 'Dragons of Deceit'

Noticed that too. It also reads odd in a few parts, where I had to read it again to make sure it made sense. I hope whoever is editing the ad copy isn’t editing the book.

Which Kickstarter is fantasy Australia? I must have missed that.

RPG Crowdfunding News – Skyraiders of Abarax, Planebreaker, Shotguns & Sorcery, and more

I really wonder what it is that has stopped it from going nuts like several other RPG Kickstarters. I mean, it has Monte Cook, who has a strong fan base, impeccable record of delivering on Kickstarters, and plenty of experience in RPGs, Planescape and Kickstarter. It has Bruce Cordell who wrote...

RPG Crowdfunding News – Skyraiders of Abarax, Planebreaker, Shotguns & Sorcery, and more

Is anyone surprised that Planebreaker hasn’t been bigger in terms of total backers and funds raised? I mean, don’t get me wrong, $270k and 2,500 backers is absolutely fantastic, but I honestly expected this to be another million dollar Kickstarter and it doesn’t look like that will happen. I...

RPG Print News – Cubicle 7, Kobold Press, Exalted Funeral, and More

Yep. 2 players in my group have metal dice and always make sure they roll on top of something. My wooden table would have quickly become dented without it.

RPG Print News – Cubicle 7, Kobold Press, Exalted Funeral, and More

But boxes have zero manufacturing cost, right? Especially ones with licensing fees attached. Personally I feel that it’s criminal how they are forcing people to buy products that they don’t want. Really unfair.

RPG Print News – Cubicle 7, Kobold Press, Exalted Funeral, and More

Sounds like the product isn’t for you then. I find there are lots of products everywhere that aren’t for me. That’s ok. I deal with them by not buying them and just continuing to live my life.

    Gen Con Is Going Ahead

That picture does not look good at all in terms of COVID transmission risk factors. Hundreds of people could get infected from just a few carriers in that sort of environment. 😬

Paizo Jessica Price (ex Paizo employee) spills the beans

Actually, didn't he confirm that the painting in question was on display in his office. That's the opposite of denial. He only denied that staff were uncomfortable about an iron cross hanging in their boss's office.

Paizo Jessica Price (ex Paizo employee) spills the beans

Whoa now, enough with the crazy ideas. You don't want the management to think you're gunning for their jobs with lateral thinking like that. Next you'll be telling me that it's not normal for staff to have asthma attacks due to the amount of dust inside a building.

Paizo Jessica Price (ex Paizo employee) spills the beans

I kinda feel like Erik Mona is being given a bit of a free pass by many people. Price stated that he was basically the best of the worst in regards to management. However, Erik's reddit post doesn't address the fact that he sat on his hands and did nothing when people under him raised issues...

Paizo Jessica Price (ex Paizo employee) spills the beans

Yeah, it certainly is. It seems that those operating at a lower paid levels are very different from those at the executive level. Disappointing to hear that Lisa Stevens and Eric Mona are not the people I had thought they were though.

Paizo Jessica Price (ex Paizo employee) spills the beans

Wow! Just wow!!! I had always thought that Paizo was leading the way in terms of being a progressive RPG company. Based on what Jessica Price has written, that seems to be about as far from the truth as possible. Some of this stuff seems comparable with the whole TSR3/Ernie Gygax/Justin LaNasa...
