Pathfinder 1E Best APs to Buy: Curated list.

zard you listed them nearly in order. I’d move iron gods up to number two. I enjoyed all of these in some way or another but I’d skip council of thieves and second darkness as the lowest rated.

I like it, but its pretty time consuming unless you are using a VTT. If a player invests in it, it ought to help them. I think a small bump is different than the gulf that 3E feats, traits, stat jacking could achieve.

    D&D General 6E But A + Thread

As a person derided earlier in this very thread for enjoying magic items demotion in 5E, id like to see that continue in 6E. Magic items that do cool things, but dont do more numbers is my preference. I enjoy dialing back the incentive to kill things and take their stuff. Old school GMs never...

Paizo Ends Pathfinder Adventure Path Softcovers, Switching to Quarterly Model

Smaller adventures have become the realm of Adventure league and Pathfinder Society. They are not free (far as I know some of the ones from 10+ years ago may very well be) but are often priced very affordably.

Paizo Ends Pathfinder Adventure Path Softcovers, Switching to Quarterly Model

The sticker price games are certainly psychological. I recall folks back in the day that bought a pack of cigs every single night. I asked them why they didnt buy them by the carton, and they said, "cartons are too expensive." They didnt understand the bulk discount and saving potential becasue...

Paizo Ends Pathfinder Adventure Path Softcovers, Switching to Quarterly Model

Minimum of 256 page count and likely higher. You get the free PDF and VTT module discount as well. I know this is a matter of opinion, but id take 100 pages of Paizo over 300 pages of WotC adventures. They are just simply better at it.

Paizo Ends Pathfinder Adventure Path Softcovers, Switching to Quarterly Model

Folks often look at one lump sum and figure that the limit without any context. The starter set was a good one with people balking that its not 14.99 anymore. 80 bucks for a hardcover that was formerly four softcovers is the product. This bundled material is more than the average company is...

With this change im wondering if that policy will also change? A monthly sub up incentive makes much more sense than a quarterly one will.

Paizo Ends Pathfinder Adventure Path Softcovers, Switching to Quarterly Model

Initial reaction was shock, but times have been a changing. I got off at PF2 launch so I dont have much room to criticize to move one way or another. Though, if it saves a little on shipping and cost, but still comes with a PDF(?), this seems like a good move.
