‏@devnuhl … any/all UA-Underdark options AL legal? JeremyECrawford Unearthed Arcana presents playtest material that might become official, as the storm sorcerer did in the SCAG. #DnD AardvarkBlue Personal opinion: class power creep is beginning. Tunnel Fighter combined with a fear effect...

D&D 5E (2014) I just don't see why they even bothered with the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide.

Looking at pathfinder it also went to a slower release scedual compared to WOTC 3.5, not counting published adventures bot both paizo and wotc. pathfinder released 16 hardcover books in 6 years. While wotch was on a relase scedual where they had at 8 hardcover books each year.

D&D 5E (2014) I just don't see why they even bothered with the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide.

As far as I could tell it looks like a pretty nice book for players, and maybe enough for Dungeon Masters who just intend running published adventures that are set in the sword coast. It might not be in dept enough for dungeon Masters who intend to run their oen adventures.

    D&D 5E (2014) bits of lore

Some times as a DM you might come up with small interesting pieces of lore and campaign ideas you thought of that don't fit the world you currently run or are working on. This is a tread to post such bits of lore So maybe anotherDm can use it. Try to keep it short and general. For example...

    D&D 5E (2014) Opinions on Bladesinger

I think you made a small error. At 5th level the damage to the 2nd creature from green flame blade is 1d8+ ability mod.

D&D 5E (2014) Dice- Rankings, Guide, Ruminations, Poll

actualy a D8 is not a joining of 2d4 try it, but the D20 can actualy be made from a joining of 20D4. My choice was the D12. This might be due to my liking of hex maps and using D12s to generate random parts for the maps

    D&D 5E (2014) Opinions on Bladesinger

daganev Can you confirm that the Bladesinger Int bonus to AC is supposed to stack with other AC bonuses? JeremyECrawford If the bonus didn't stack with other bonuses, its description would say so. #DnD

Spelljammer Spelljammer, 5e, and the general angst against all things space

One of the problems might be that people nowadays know a lot more about the actual properties of outerspace form science and science fiction. To me spelljammer has always been more like magical space then real life space, maybe focus on the magical nature when pitching it. Becouse if you...

    D&D 5E (2014) Raw d20 rolls?

Another way to do something like this would be to go with the no bonus guy aproach. So you tell the player sombody with no bonus would need to roll a 10 If the player rolls a 10 or higer there is no need to look at any stats, if the player rolls less then 10 he can then look if his bonus is...
