Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana Introduces The Artifcer

But the Artificer does not get cantrips and the thunder canon can only be used once per turn taking up the action and bonus action.

Unearthed Arcana Unearthed Arcana Introduces The Artifcer

To me is almost feals like there might be a 3rd subclass missing that focuses on the servants. it might get a smaler servent/familar at lower level, and add some of your bonuses to the servant you get at 6th level so it doesen't lag behind.

I wonder if you could stuff all these dungeons in a sandboxy game, starting out in a town with rumers about the 2 lowest level dungeons. D&D 5E (2014) reducing dominance of ranged: cantrips

One thing I don't like about the cantrip scaling is that over level 11 cantrips start to deal more damage then some first level spells like chromatic orb. not sure if this is a problem with the cantrips or those 1st level spells being to weak

D&D 5E (2014) Calculating fall damage in special situations

Wel turning in a cat alone woulden't be enough to reduce the damage at this heigth. The terminal velocity of a cat is half that of a suman so I would rule for a cat the max faling damage would be 10D6 instead of 20d6

D&D 5E (2014) 5E skills and the Perception vs Stealth imbalance

when it comes to monsters setting up a ambush even during daylight keep in mind you can't spot what you can't see. So you can't spot a enemy that is in full cover, you can still hear them but if they are trying to be silent the sounds they make would travel a lot less far then line of sight...

D&D 5E (2014) Encounter Building: Revised XP Threshold by Character Level Table

When it comes to encounter designs I think we should look at the multiplyer for multiple monsters first. as this seems to realy ramp up the adjusted XP. if you have a Cr 20 dragon and add one cr 1/8 kobold the encounter does not become 1.5 times as hard.

    D&D 5E (2014) I may have taken on a bigger challenge than i thought I did

you can adjust the amount of creatures in a encounter if you keep in mind that you might have to adjust the number while designing the encounter. A tip would be to always try and have some low cr minions in the encounter and chamge the number of these as needed. for example in a fight with a...
