    D&D 5E (2024) Dual Wielding

    It's called Topple.

    D&D 5E (2024) Dual Wielding

It sure is a lot easier if you only need to find one thing with plusses on it.

    D&D 5E (2024) Ranger 2024 is a bigger joke than Ranger 2014:

On that note, Snare is finally pickable, now that Rangers have more spell slots. It's still not great, but...

    D&D 5E (2024) Ranger 2024 is a bigger joke than Ranger 2014:

It's the same as before, except Hail of Thorns, Lightning Arrow, Swift Quiver Magic Weapon lost concentration requirement, because screw melee rangers I guess.

A Potential Earthquake in the Videogame Industry: UNITY Install Fees

And, an update a year later! Unity is cancelling those fees. https://unity.com/blog/unity-is-canceling-the-runtime-fee Was it worth it?

    D&D 5E (2024) Dual Wielding

And requires two magic weapons (or three if you want to maximize Dual-Wielder's attack). And then GWM has the ability to go for PAM as well, which gets them to bonus action attack + reaction attack anyway.

Pathfinder: The Dragon's Demand Reveals New Trailer, Kickstarter Launching Soon

I think you cannot compete with Owlcat/Larian anyway (and it would take a lot of years to even attempt)... Something a lot smaller and easier to do (like using minis instead of animating characters) makes a lot of sense, and means you could do ten such things in the same time.

Pathfinder: The Dragon's Demand Reveals New Trailer, Kickstarter Launching Soon

Based on just this trailer, I'd assume it's just the fight scenarios from the adventure (with maybe a brief interlude text window to set the scene up)... Which would be fine, if it's readily expandable by them, once their groundwork is done. Anything using PF2e gets my interest! EDIT: Oh, they...

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 PHB - a short review

I think that sort of images would fit in with crafting and stuff like that, not when you're picking a character to play, whose whole purpose is to go on adventures and blow stuff up. I mean, that is the game. Perhaps this art is a result of their chosen order of presenting things: class ->...

    D&D 5E (2024) 2024 PHB - a short review

All of the race entry pictures go out of their way to not make any race seem cool, but as mundane as possible. That aside, the book is nicely colorful. Though I do wish each subclass got their own page. Now that you mention it...

2024 Player's Handbook Officially Live on D&D Beyond

Seems Beyond is applying errata, as equipment list now shows Shield (Utilize Action to Don or Doff), which was not there in the review copies of the PHB, Giant Insect HP formula isn't bonkers now, Goliath racial power to resist being grappled actually does something now, etc.

2024 Player's Handbook Officially Live on D&D Beyond

Oh yeah, homebrewing any spell, if you previously clicked that it appeared only on some class lists, those only apply to the 2014 classes. You (and Beyond crew) have to edit every single spell to add the same 2024 classes to the list as well.

2024 Player's Handbook Officially Live on D&D Beyond

Oh yeah, we can homebrew backgrounds. You just select a pool of skills/feats they can pick one from. Thanks for pointing that out! Sadly, this means I won't get to see my players' reaction to forced 16 stock options.

2024 Player's Handbook Officially Live on D&D Beyond

AFAIK, WotC was adamant that Beyond should only support things that have been officially printed up to then, you should have no functionality beyond those (for fear of people homebrewing everything?)... so the base of it was built on a bad premise in the first place, with every feature being its...

2024 Player's Handbook Officially Live on D&D Beyond

On that note, you still cannot combine different die sizes in a custom attack (so no, I dunno, dagger+sneak attack, who even heard of that). It's like they've made no updates to Beyond. Which is very possibly the case - either the people knowing the back-end got laid off, or any time they try...

2024 Player's Handbook Officially Live on D&D Beyond

They really aren't allowed to update the back-end of Beyond at all, huh. They seem to be struggling with the same limitations as homebrew (cannot have racial features that unlock when you hit lv5, critical range cannot be expanded, etc). I, perhaps naively, thought that they'd have someone give...

2024 Player's Handbook Officially Live on D&D Beyond

First impressions, updating my Human Ranger to 2024... picking 'fighting style' for my Ranger does not open up a fighting style-picking menu (previously this part worked fine, because Druidic Warrior was one of the fighting styles, and they could've just left it there) Human Inspiration is not...

2024 Player's Handbook Officially Live on D&D Beyond

Okay, they really mean to restrict you to the 16 backgrounds in the PHB. That's a choice. Custom background is still there, but it has not been updated from 2014 (tells you to pick a background feature rather than lv1 feat).
