Plus, if I want Paladin concentrating on a spell, it's still going to be Bless. :angel: (which also helps them make those concentration saves to keep it up..)

I dunno about that... there's a lot of ways to gain Advantage (more with melee, just have people bring their Topple masteries) and most spells are just straight saves rather than to-hit. And it's only reliably staying up once the Paladin can pass DC10 concentration saves 95% of the time. But...

And speaking of doubling effectiveness, the madmen buffed Web... Previously a creature needed to save if it was in there on its own turn, now it needs to save whenever it gets pushed into the webbed area, and then again at the start of its turn in case it made the save.

Heat Metal's range finally applies to the continuation effect. So you cannot any more cast Heat Metal on someone's metal armor, and walk/fly/swim away for a minute while the target takes no-save 20d8 damage from a lv2 spell. The caster needs to stick around close enough that someone might...

That wasn't about incapacitated as such, more of a general rule that nothing could make them drop.

It's like Incapacitated is a terrible choice for the name of a condition that does not incapacitate you... I'll note that (in 2014 at least) if they were flying magically, whatever happens to them, they'll just float gently.

Oh yeah, Find Traps still doesn't find traps, because what are words anyway.

I didn't imagine they'd change that. It might be because some languages might need more than one word for their imperatives, but... that's not great.

They wanted each class to stand in for one of the attributes, and I guess they were more excited about Witchwarper to represent Int than Mechanic or Technomancer. They did also say that they want Mechanic to interact with tech gadgets (on the equipment list), but they felt it needed a ton more...

I'm conflicted on the new Sleep. I know Sleep's always been an auto-pick in every edition (except 4e), but I never had problems with it in 5e, because I don't run encounters with dozens of 4hp critters (especially when bounded accuracy means that amount of actions gets lethal fast). Old Sleep...

It is explicitly Pathfinder2e in space, so far that they encourage you to mix-and-match between Starfinder and PF. (though currently everything in the playtest is more powerful than the character options in PF)
