There is no real reason for them to not file this injunction. If they win good for them, if they don't, not much is lost.

This seems like a big deal but it's really not. WotC probably didn't expect to win this injuction. They were asking for a preliminary judgement on something that was basically their entire point for suing Lanasa, they would need a really strong case for preliminary judgement on that.

Lanasa is not a friend to Ernie, he is a chance to relieve "his" glory days at TSR, play games and be relevant again... This is not about Ernie being loyal to a friend over his brother, it's about Ernie doing what he thinks is best for Ernie.
