Technically, Death Knights do exist (just ask Lord Soth), but I know what you mean. I created a “Death Knight” Fighter subclass, but I had to call it Doom Knight because Death Knights exist in the MM.

For the most part. But when I’m teaching new players, I feel like the names might not be as obvious of a description of their mechanics, and I fear that the new players would be put off by having to flip through all the pages of feats to figure out what each one does.

Did anybody happen to notice, in any of the previews, if the Feats chapter had a handy table with brief feat descriptions like there was in 3.x and 4e? That way my overwhelmed players can scan the list and then look up the feats they want more clarification on. That was a pretty basic thing...

I feel like Fey Touched and Shadow Touched should be origin feats. There's always a chance your character could be "touched" during the campaign, but more than likely it would happen when you're younger, if not directly at birth. Of course, they'd have to remove the +1 ASI from them.

That site says (I Italicized the last line): Feats Feats now come in four varieties: Origin Feats, General Feats, Epic Boons, and Fighting Styles. There are a lot of feats. For brevity, I’m going to skip the Epic Boons and any feats that didn’t change in function.
