D&D General "Red Orc" American Indians and "Yellow Orc" Mongolians in D&D

Same in RL. All summer you'll find plenty of roman reenactments all across Germany where we celebrate and idealize the invaders that subjucated our ancestors. And the general opinion about those ancestors it that they were stupid savages that s##t in the woods. Just about no one cares about...

D&D General "Red Orc" American Indians and "Yellow Orc" Mongolians in D&D

Either that or it's simply their variant of Generic Brand Video Just about every company has one of those nowadays and 99% just have them because you're supposed to have one and no one at the company cares a bit about it. I work in a medium company, ~11k employees worldwide, doing a boring...

And to know which publication contains such major level of problematic-ness you have to check them all. How else would you know where those intances are?

D&D General "Red Orc" American Indians and "Yellow Orc" Mongolians in D&D

So what is a "major" product ? From my gut feeling I would not have flagged a Gazetter as "major". It's probably not neccessary to check a dice set or a bunch of character sheets. Although who knows whether there has been as set down the line with problematic images? Edit: He didn't actually...

D&D General "Red Orc" American Indians and "Yellow Orc" Mongolians in D&D

But they razed it not just with their couple of hundred troops that were, even with their steel and guns, vastly outmatched by the aztec army. They fell because they've been an oppressive empire of their own and the subjugated tribes rose as willing auxiliaries to the spainiards to bring down...

Heck, if you're going to make a fantasy setting that's generic fantasy Europe you will get things wrong. You have to. Because otherwise it's boring.

    D&D and the rising pandemic

In Germany those cloth/community masks were forbidden month ago. You are required at least a surgical mask and in some states you are required to wear FFP2 or you are considers unmasked and fined accordingly / denied entrance, even if you are wearing a cloth mask.

Just something I consider funny in light of the recent argument about WotC removing mentions of 'brothel' with the latest Errata https://www.thedailybeast.com/brothel-offers-vaccines-with-benefits-in-free-sex-for-the-vaxxed-campaign?source=articles&via=rss If german brothels foolow suit I may...

Looks like Denmark is overtaking UK in the race who will be the first nation that has Omicron as the dominant strain in it's capital. The danish SSI expects it to become dominant in the Kopenhagen area within this week On the bright side I got my booster today. I expect a fourth shot with a...

    D&D 5E (2014) Latest D&D Errata: Drow, Alignment, & More

You mean knock on politely? Let me fix that for you: The point is WotC is trying to do whatever is currently expected to earn the most money. If that means taking out brothels and stop calling beholders evil, they'll do that. If one day it again means "going all Goblin Slayer" on the IP...
