    Lightsaber construction

In knighs of the Old Republic video game it was the crystals, but beyond that I don't really have a clue. It might be the special effects team and the director, but that is just a guess.

    Wizard's First Rule

I liked the first book, but had no interest in reading any of the others. I say drop the book and run for something better.

[Batman Begins] Pics of the Batmobile??

This does not make me want to see the movie, if anything I am beginning to worry.

Chicago Game Day planning thread planning thread

I don't think the banner adds on ENWorld will really be beneficial. We (the posters) do a pretty good job of bumping the threads to the first page. IMO a banner add on another game site would be more beneficial. A static web page describing the event and the scedule may also be beneficial.

    Rasputin IS annoyed (OT RANT)

This was 20 years ago, but what I did was never cancel the books of the month (book club) and then never open them and write return to sender and stick it back in the mail. After 4 or 5 times they sent me a letter saying I was too irresponsable or a pain in the tookus and I would no longer have...

Soliciting prize donations for Chicago Game Day

I still have the mint condition (never read) signed copy of the Dragonlance campaign setting. I would also be willing to donate a painted miniature. While not a spectacular painter, I do have some skills.

Chicago Game Day planning thread planning thread

Any weekend besides the 5th is good with me. I have a motorcycle trip that weekend. I don't go to Origins either so the 26th is great. Getting back on topic, I think that recruiting DMs prior to sign-up is a good idea. You may still get straggler DMs, but you will start with a fuller plate...

    Next Batch of Miniatures?

I don't like Gameoutfitters communication, or lack of. They don't send emails when things ship or updates and are not easy to contact. I would rather pay an buck and get high quality service.

    Lost in Translation

The film was quirky mood piece; lovely to some and deadly dull to others. That's all good. But don't suggest that a film is somehow a failure if it isn't a large-scale commercial success on the level of Titanic or Lord of the Rings. Plenty of films get made with far more modest expectations in...

    [Amber] Amber goes to GoO!

A no support game is bound to become a dust collector on the shelf, but I would still buy it. I love Amber and played a home made version all through highschool. I have the diceless version, but don't know anyone interested in playing it.

    Lost in Translation

After watching it I can see why it did not do well in the theater and why no word of mouth campaign ever developed. It was not until all of the Oscar talk that anyone had interest in it.

    Lost in Translation

    Spider-Man 2...and 3, 4, 5, & 6

Hey I thought I was alone in not liking Spider Man movie. I feel better :) 6 movies is ambitious. I remember how good Batman 1 was and how horrible the rest were. Hope this works out but I think I will skip the rest unless I see something more interesting that the first movie.

Almost Every movie ever based off a "True" story have very little root in truth, but I have avoided movies for the same reason.
