Survivor Core Races- DWARF WINS (in a Scottish Accent)!

Second post decreased Elf by 3 instead of 2. Also increased Halfling from 5 to 6, but that was corrected in the third post. So anyway Dwarf 15 Elf 1 Human 9

Survivor Core Races- DWARF WINS (in a Scottish Accent)!

    A ways back, @Torquar's votes were dropped in a crosspost. Subsequently, @Ogre Mage corrected for the downvote, but not for the upvote of half-elf. Drow 2 Dwarf 22 Eladrin 11 Elf 23 Gnome 22 - 2 = 20 Half-elf 24 Half-orc 20 Halfling 18 Human 20 + 1 = 21 Tiefling 13

Lol. You're asking me to prove (or at least justify) a negative?? Being uninteresting is just the lack of being interesting. Generally, there aren't going to be specific attributes that can be cited that lead to something being uninteresting. Probably a more useful path is to say what I mean...

I don't get it. All it does is allow you to cast one particular spell a few times per day. And you know Sylvan. It might be useful, but it doesn't seem very interesting.

Ugh - I don't want to be reduced to upvoting Prodigy, but it appears soon I'll have no choice. Dragon Fear 3 + 1 = 4 Fade Away 14 - 2 = 12 - aka Gnome Cowardice Fey Teleportation 9 - I can cast a spell for free once in a while because reasons Prodigy 11

D&D General I Do Declare! Do you? (POLL)

RAW there is not, but some, I among them, are not content with the RAW combat process. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything that I am willing to say is definitively better.

D&D General I Do Declare! Do you? (POLL)

Sure, that's a fine visualization, but it is just not what is modeled by the way most people play I-go-you-go initiative-based combat. The most frequent difference is in the decision making. Most folks playing I-go-you-go base their decision about what to do on the state that results from...

D&D General What if Hit Points were the currency of the game rules?

It's an interesting idea in the abstract, and if you built a game from the ground up to work that way, it seems like it could be ok. But in converting 5e to such a system I think it would be very challenging to tune the costs of using various features appropriately. Using spell points instead...

Survivor (Non-PHB) Feats: FEY TELEPORTATION WINS!

Why is removing some (arbitrary?) feat important? If you're thinking that removing the item closest to being removed leads to a quicker resolution, well, we've had that discussion. You didn't downvote the one closest to being removed. If I hadn't wanted to upvote IC anyway, that certainly would...

Bountiful Luck 13 Dragon Fear 10 Dwarven Fortitude 8 Fade Away 18 - 2 = 16 - yes, very gnome-like, which is why it should fade away Fey Teleportation 17 Flames of Phlegethos 8 + 1 = 9 - I don't know why, but I always think damage shields are cool. Infernal Constitution 14 Orcish Fury 13 Prodigy...
