Fleshwarper- Has anyone tried it out?

I played a fleshwarper and finally let him die because he was too much of a hassle. He was a monk 1/ranger 1/wizard 5/fleshwarper. Also took a couple of aberrant feats, deepspawn and aberrant blood/flexible limbs. He had a glass jaw, constantly had to have wizard buffs up, thus never...

    Sunbeam

touche' Yes, it is an instantaneous effect. The duration of the spell is for just how long you can go around throwing out these instantaneous effects. See implosion.

How many Scrolls can you Scribe in one day?

FWIW, my house rule is: we don't keep track of how many spells sit on a single piece of paper. For practical purposes, every scroll is distinct. You can write up to 1,000gp worth of scrolls per day. See, isn't that easy? This applies also to Brew Potion. I see no reason that you can't brew...

monstrous martial adepts and initiator level

hill giant = CR 7 hill giant Warblade 6 @ initiator level 12 = CR 13? Mayyybe. After all, maneuvers have prereqs like "two Iron Heart maneuvers" and such, but whew, scary. I'll go poke around the hated WotC boards and see what I can find.

monstrous martial adepts and initiator level

a rakshasa swordsage: what's its initiator level? The discussion of multiclass characters and initiator level on page 39 of the Tome of Battle says that you add half of your other class levels to your initiator level, but what about monstrous hit dice?

    Storm of Vengeance

thanks, Hyp! I can see why now, looking at the Player's Handbook. It is part of that 5-10 paragraph, but on d20srd.org it is broken out into a separate paragraph.

    Storm of Vengeance

There is language at the end of the spell description that states Do these sentences apply to only the fifth-through-tenth rounds of the spell, or to all ten rounds? If the latter choice, then why the heck didn't they put these sentences at the beginning of the spell description?

    Speaking of healing belt...

1,500gp elixirs of restoration kept my campaign afloat during the time that they were mucking around Nightfang Spire...without a cleric. I allow synergy between item-creation feats to yield products like this IMC. You need both Brew Potion and Craft Wondrous Item for the aforementioned...

    Having trouble locating two feats

I think you're thinking of the archmage's Mastery of Shaping ability.

    Speaking of healing belt...

erm, no, you can't have potions of personal-range spells, so a potion of true strike is not, in fact, good, else I would load up on potions of shield.

extra credit I tried to reverse-engineer the cost of slaying arrows and failed utterly. Anyone want to help?

    Detect Disease

three options 1) Heal check, DC 15. um, no rules to back me up, or anything, but my DM-reflex just blurted that out without thinking. 2) A Heal check equal to the DC of the Fort save for the disease, to reflect how common or uncommon diseases are. 3) As #1, but +5 to supernatural diseases...

How many smite evils per round?

I allow a smite as part of a full attack. Taking a clue from energy drain and stunning fist, I allow only one smite per round.

    Most powerful feat ever?

yes, probably something like, "Finally a way to wiggle out from under the tyranny of Power Attack..."
