COC has a system that is skill & feat related. Also Ken Hood (who also does the grim n gritty alternate rules) has a very detailed skill & feat psionics system.

There's the Spell book part of the WotC website as well. I would have to check, but possibly both books of Eldritch Might. I don't have them with me right now, so I can't be certain.

We just use Nodwick. In addition to being able to carry any amount of loot (including entire castles) he's also useful for disarming traps and dealing with hungry monsters. :D

Re: problems with the rules I can't address all your points since I don't have D&Dg with me. As well, some are legitimate errors or issues with the book (such as diety stats). Still I can say something about this one. The divine immunity does not work against dieties of equal or greater...

So are these guys the 3E conversion of the linnorms, or are they something different?
