Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

ISO is still a handy notation for light sensitivity and the "F" rating of a lens is the ratio between the lens's focal length and the aperture size. So far I've been sort of lucky with Shingles. Only had an outbreak on my lower right leg, that only hurt as badly as a medium sunburn. Unfortunately it got misdiagnosed by 4 different doctors. Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

Guy who took a film photography course 20 years ago: "I don't like the pictures that I bought from you. When I zoom in to 100%, I can see the individual dots that the picture is made up of." Me, with almost 20 years of digital track photography experience: "You do know that digital isn't the...

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

Mr. Police Ossifer, you have to be better than that to catch me. Let's just start with the fact that I'm generally paranoid and, even though I sold my last motorcycle a year ago, I still have a rider's instincts. You were "following" me, from in front. How could I tell? Your lane management made...

Judge decides case based on AI-hallucinated case law

I was joking mostly about the hair-splitting and reframing that has been going on, every time what seems to be a valid point is raised ;)

Now you've gone and done it. You're going to have to explain Strict Liability and Absolute Liability :ROFLMAO:

Which could be particularly bad if in the hands of a vexatious litigant, or someone whose whole purpose is to fatigue the court. I've mentioned before that I was a witness in a case where the accused went through something like 8 lawyers, over the course of a few years.

I agree. It amounts to legal malpractice and should be subject to a review by the appropriate Bar Association, at the least, in addition to court sanctions.

Spoilers Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

"Here's the Prime Directive. Let's see how many ways we can break it." Voyager took it to new levels, though. If I was the captain then I would have spaced the entire crew, by the end of season 1.
