Yeah but if one of his reasons doesn't hold up then the whole argument should fail just like if you were on trial. So not to belabor the topic too much, leaving DR out of armor but leaving it for monsters is essentially hypocritical when you acknowledge ALL the design issues Mearls mentioned.

I rather dread them releasing a GH 4E book because I have a feeling once they get past FR and Eberron all these other books will be are one shot sourcebooks with no follow up. Then it will be another round of wishing and whining about no-support until 5e comes along.

I'm in the camp that doesn't want to DM 4E, but may be open to playtesting it at least. The straw that broke my back is the races in the PHB. I'd rather DM 3.5 Eberron at this point.
