Can you blame them, though? WotC taking so long to get 3rd Parties into the 4E ruleset has sort of forced this.

Wow. I'm impressed. I already have the alpha version and have been going through it... It's sort of a best of both worlds from my perspective. It has some of the things I liked about 4E, without some of the stuff I did not like.

Anyone know of any swashbuckling-style rules? Rules for dramatic maneuvers / flair / etc. Skill tricks did this to an extent, but their implementation leaves me feeling as if it's only half right. There are a lot of resources out there, but I'm not familiar with rules that could do this nicely.

It's been stated in the d20 forum that the d20 STL will not be retired, it will simply not be applicable to 4E. I forget which WotC employee said it, but I'm about 99% sure it was a WotC staffer.

Felix, thank you for reminding me of this movie. Yeah, it's a bad movie, but I enjoyed it :) And the concepts play perfectly to the all-psionic campaign I'm designing... these sorts of things would work well in a world where Telepathy is common.
