I see no reason why a skilled warlord could not get someone to move by authority alone as it happens in RL with some regularity. There have been dozens and dozens of documented cases of commanders ordering half dead solders to move or solders continuing on after they should clearly be dead...

I would RP every magic item sell in real time. If they want to sell 10 or more items that could take 2-3 sessions. Sounds like a blast! And maybe once they find out how profitable it is they will hire another group to go adventuring for them and bring back treasure to sell! They could buy that...

After reading the OP about 5 times I finally figured out why the heck I did not understand what he was going on about. I already DM moving your intitive in anyway with the delay rules. I just assumed this was exactly how it worked already and I am betting RnD intended it to be that way.

What web site are you talking about? As for OOTS. It is (normally) damn funny and has a great story and has a great world and has a great auther. What is not to love? (other than having to read like 5 years of comics to know what is going on)

Stopped me from buying books? Yes. Stopped me from putting them on my wish list at Amazon? No. So I still get most of them just in lumps. DMG's are so great now I will be buying every one of them. And probably PHs as well. Not so sure about the MMs... it will need to be a spectacular...

They do (or did). And I have no need for them to make D&D a fad again by trying to tie it to other fads. But saying that they do need to reach out to new venues, and the Tiny Adventures was darn good... they need to rerelease that with basic 4e rules.

No this is not a spam post. What the heck is this game being advertised right now on ENworld? I attempted to figure it out from the site but did not make to deep. some kind of RTS game in a MMO world? And you use money to buy land? Seemed really odd.

Avenger is a striker… but I don’t see the strike part… is getting to reroll your attack 1-3 times in a combat on one monster really that good? Or did I miss something else? (I am sure this has been talked about already so fell free to point me to some other thread)
