    Lycanthropy

Good to me means the players are scared of the big bad wolf. Right now the werewolf is just another monster. That is not acceptable for what is about to happen in my campaign. It does not have to be save or turn into a WW but something more than it is now.

    Lycanthropy

Has anyone come up with a good version of lycanthropy in 4e?

    OotS 611 is up!

Minions. The Giant said that he will use 4e rules were he wants and 3.x rules were he wants. I think that was a perfect example of what a minion is and what is should be used for.

Martial Power is ruining my life!

The best way to deal with this is a good TPK.

What is your general impression of RPGers? Forked Thread: WotC tryin to kill FLGS?

The ones at my LGS? Yea. But then the LGSs in this area don't even know what WoTC book is coming out next so not like I even go to them any more.

    Question about Transfer Enchantment,

We looked around a good bit and could not find out what 'type' really meant. We assume it works like what you say but just could not find it in text. Thanks for the input you two.

    Question about Transfer Enchantment,

Can you move the enchantment bonus from a staff to a wand? Or a longswrod? Both? Neither? If, by rule, you can’t move enchantment bonuses from a staff to a wand (or other implement) do you think it is a reasonable house rule?

    D&DI Character Builder Beta

I want them to finish the thing and then let us have it. I have no desire to force them to push production and put out a bad product. 0. They will put it out as soon as they possibly can. They know that people want this more than anything else but that does not mean they should rush it.

    D&DI Character Builder Beta

Soo... the product I think you must want is not going to be out for a bit. First they will need to develop a way of reading your thoughts remotely and distinguish them from all the others, and then they will have to build about 100,000 different versions. Then the real hard part… they must...

So...How are Sales of 4E Product?

Why is it so hard to believe that with the US population growing a minimum of 70 million that a few of them might have picked up D&D? Is that really so ludicrous? Every single numeric that anyone has come up with shows 4e is selling really well. Why is that so hard to believe? Because the...

D&D: big as it ever was? (Forked Thread: So...How are Sales of 4E Product?)

After reading these 2 threads I feel like I put an econ 101 book and a players handbook into a blinder and hit liquefy and then cut the resulting powder with cocaine and did about 10 lines. Now that I think about it… maybe that is why I don’t remember the 80’s…

    Digital Insider #13

.net 3.5 is a really great tool... that has nothing to do with any problems it might or might not have. that is all about the programmers, no matter what environment if your programmers dont know what they are doing it will suck... DDI is looking like it is not going to suck.

Can a warlord "heal" an unconscious character

Sounds like 4e is not for you from your narrative.

    Is D&D recession proof?

What about CCGs? I am not 100% sure what the % of income still comes from that at WoTC but it has to be significant. I have known people to sell plasma to buy cards so i know the die hards will. And I do think Hasbro will be ok because parents will always buy toys for their kids... maybe not...

    Is D&D recession proof?

Yea i get you on the distraction part. But I am thinking they might have lucked out with the fewer books model. I hope it helps them keep things moving.

    Is D&D recession proof?

I think there is little doubt that we can call D&D books luxury items. And I think most people know that sales of luxuries go down in a rescission. And if you are not living in a fantasy world I think everyone is going to be at least somewhat hurt by the craziness. So. Is D&D recession proof...

    Official posts on DDM changes

The conclusion you should be jumping too is that by the end of 2006 most people playing D&D had bought all the miniatures they needed for their game tables. Any purchases after that were just for cosmetic purposes and the occasional skirmish player. It is the most logical and obvious reason...
