No, normally i bump the main stat every time, and the rest go where i think they should based on what the game dictates. If we are having lots of RPing encounters then i will bump CHR, if i am getting hit with lots of AE i bump DEX. It also helps that i set most of my stats to an odd number at...

I know real world common logic does not really play into this when it comes to RAW, but as a DM and as a player of a fighter I would let a marshal attack using a melee weapon apply Power Attack, even with a close burst. But I don’t think the RAW supports that.

Those are very very close to what my sword and board fighters starting stats are (who is the most enjoyable character I have ever played). So thanks for insulting my intelligence and my play style.

I don’t think you are the target audience; they are targeted at people who don’t have the time or knowledge to optimize* as effectively as you obviously do. Just because you are not the target audience does not make it un-useful to all D&D players. *is optimize the new politically correct...
