    Dark*Matter: Discovery, The Delphi Paradox

Larry had been checking out his PDA, and become distracted about the discussion at hand. Diego had covered well after Meredith spoke up about weapons, but helping him out made sense. "Yeah, remember that dig at the Somali-Ethiopian border we were supposed to cover? The one they sent old Quinn...

    Dark*Matter: Discovery, The Delphi Paradox

When Meredith talks of weapons, Larry loosens the shoulder hoster to keep the weapon in easy reach. After Cade speaks up about safety, the conman just grins. "Hey, we're team Libra. It's all going to be alright" he adds in through the private comms. OOC: Talk about famous last words ;)

    How are you using True20?

here it is. I never finished it since my players got too brave at some point. I did come up with a zombie horde, based on the combat unit template, that worked perfectly to instill fear when they started getting cocky about zombie minions :D

I don't think so. There's constant mention of at least some WOTC PrCs. Apparently there is a Samurai class, Miko just didn't take it. ;) In belkar's case, I could see a case been made for Dual Strike though (he hits with both daggers after his halfling jumping rage attack).

Why would you say that? He obviously dumpstatted wisdom to bump up an ability, and I doubt he's been shoring up his con (only Durkon and Roy seem to pass their Fort saves with any regularity). He obviously thinks he can lug Roy around easily, since he isn't willingto put him into a Bag of...

Does Saga Edition make anyone else jones for Star Wars in general?

Before they made Dark Forces, I would have agreed with you. But that game showed me how you could have a really cool campaign while the movie cast is off doing there thing. ;) It is a galaxy after all, no reason why stuff should only take place on Tatooine and Coruscant after all.

    Dark*Matter: Discovery, The Delphi Paradox

Helping Cade out, Larry brings up one point that was bothring him. "These guys look like grunts, not the kind of people you'd send on this type of mission, except for security. Were are the archaeologists or spies that must have known what was going on? Anyway, if you find something interesting...

    Victorian Era Sources

Wow, thanks for the responses. Rippers seems like the best fit, even though it's for Savage Worlds. About the only thing throwing me off is the Rippertech. How essential is the rippertech?

    Dark*Matter: Discovery, The Delphi Paradox

Since they were going with the National geographic cover, Larry was going to stick to his cover as Meredith's personal assistant. Putting the appropriate fawning look, he picks up her luggage and starts making his way up.

    Victorian Era Sources

So I'm gearing up to run a Victorian era Horror game. The party will be a cadre of Monster Hunters. Any good products out there? I'll be using True20, so d20 systems will be preferred, although anything else is probably worth a look.

    Dark*Matter: Discovery, The Delphi Paradox

Bumming a smoke from the Free Mason, Larry puffs contentedly. "Good to see ya, Duffman. Long flight without a smoke." "Thanks for the heads up, man. Maybe we can repay the favor at some point. You got a number we can contact you? Some backdoor communications might save all our asses when...

Star Wars Saga, the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Which is exactly my point. I'm not saying that Endurance is an uber skill in all games. I can definitely see it as useless if you're dealing with a space hopping/smuggler type game in SW. If instead you're part of a Rebel strike force operating behind enemy lines in Kashyyk, it becomes very...

Star Wars Saga, the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Let me see if I can make it clearer then. You said: To which I responded that in my games (either as a player or GM) it's a rare thing not to invoke the rules for forced marches, extended running or swimming, extreme environmental conditions, or malnourishment. Hence, since like most other...

Star Wars Saga, the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Wow, generalize much? So basically, since you've never enforced the Endurance rules, the feat/skill is useless? Personally, I've always used the forced march/fatigue rules, and any PC in my games who takes the Endurance feat/skill get's to see it shine. Maybe it's just because I always enjoyed...
