    Full cast for Dragonlance announced

I dunno, I think she'll be able to sound as nicely endowed as she is drawn.

Pee Wee's Playhouse on Adult Swim...Why?

It's just enough people at CN and AS like it and they were probably able to get a good price for it. Add to that the idea that showing it is considered edgy, at least by the folks who sign the checks to put it on the air. It was supposedly a satire of children's programming but CBS didn't...

    FLGS in Philadephia, PA?

The Days of Knights is the best game store in the Philadelphia area. ;)

    OK, Conan pretty much ROCKS

Wait. Who was alive at the end of the movie? Who was large and in charge? Conan. Conan got his butt whipped often and while he did great against one big monster, like that snake, he was brought down by some dweeb amongst many who hig him in the head and knocked him out. Actually, add up...

What was your first year of DMing like? Mistakes new DM's can avoid..

Don't put a lich on the second level of a dungeon. Any campaign in which no one dies, soon does. A lich is okay on the second level if you have a really good reason for it, just understand what you are doing by putting it there. This is what I used:

Can you play the game wrong/incorrectly?

Fun. If you are having fun then you are doing it right. Having read the thread now... :) Your way of playing may not agree with others ways. and may get you in trouble with the police. :\

I'll be glad to hear about your character if you are happy to listen to me yammer about mine!

Where is the best place for a newbie to start a Greyhawk game

I started a campaign in the Shield lands, but there is a Knight who is traveling around to make diplomatic connections around the various nations; I'd have to look up in the recent dungeon. The party can be his squire and others and they are tasked to try and help out the country they are...

Favorite memories of Land of the Lost

I liked when they started trying to figure out how to work the pylons. One of the best episodes was when Holly met her older self. That was pretty cool.

Best director for the next live action Dungeons and dragons movie.

Ed Wood would have been great. Roger Corman is still alive, I think. Here's a quote, "In science-fiction films the monster should always be bigger than the leading lady." That sounds like a pretty good basis for a fantasy film too! Too bad Russ Meyer is dead; that would make for an...

    Randomized Mini's or Not?

I buy singles from Paizo. I don't need that many minis, since I've been buying the things since '79/'80. I like that WotC has them available, but I'm not buying more than 10 a year. Now, I did make a point to get the Dragon special repainted Black Dragon with Sorcerer. My buying is for...

Would these maps make for a fun dungeon adventure?

Way back, it was common to have a large dungeon that could be entered, and sometimes exited alive, by parties of adventurers. Most dungeons in our group's games were not explored completely; they were explored until we found something cool and then we went back to town, celebrated and went...

2 (or more) PCs per Player

When I started gaming in '79 the group I was with had standard of everyone playing two or more characters, depending on the lethality of the campaign. The deadliest campaign we had the group usually created at least three characters and once everyone did five characters to start out with...

I once got a name for a gnome, Theobold Holsopple, from an old movie credits. He is in the IMDB, too! If you check "War and Peace" there are lots of names in there!

    The ripping of character sheets

Way back when, in the early 80s, we were in a game and the DM reached across the table, snatched up the character sheet of a recently deceased and ripped it in half. Took three of us to hold back the player from following it across the table! He was seriously pi... annoyed. The DM didn't even...

Homebrew Worlds- What is in YOUR world?

When I started out most of the players in the group (usually between 8 and 12 players) had their own homebrews. I thought it expected that I would do the same. N's - A world where much was not as it seemed. I loved the tricky, shapechanging, illusion-using, disguise-wearing types and the idea...

Wow - David Lee Roth looks old...

You think he looks worse that Ozzie? No, Roth looked fine for a 50 year old that lived a rough life, his brain seemed to still be fully operative.
