Best Love Songs (and "your" songs)

Our song is "Evergreen". I had to ask my wife what it was and then she went into an overwrought exclamation, "oh, the honeymoon is OVER!" :P My favorite anniversary was the time when neither one of us could remember how many years it had been that we were married; we had to to do the math...

Posting a response without reading the other responses

Annette Funicello, who is a fine example of 'goody two shoes', described an incident in her autobiography that is relevant. She was in a casino gambling, having a drink and smoking a cigarette. Two ladies came up and expressed how shocked they were that she was doing that. She smiled at them...

Posting a response without reading the other responses

sex and drugs are only morally indecent if done right! Did you ever read the Fu Manchu stories and want to smoke some opium? The stories made it clear it was bad for you but the effects also sounded so cool.

I need help with out of control Quentin Tarantino-esque gangster characters!

I'd suggest when he starts to describe the torture, you cut him off, "Ok, you torture him and he suffers. You learn ......" and then go on with other things. This should go along with telling him he is freakiing people out. The change in game style will let him know none of you will tolerate...

Bad joke done in bad taste from IMDB!

It's not IMDBs fault, as you say. The expectation is that who ever did that entry on IMDB will do it again since it got such a huge *over*reaction.

Is piracy a serious issue for game developers?

People have the right to the idea they develop, be it a work of art like a book or a technological advance. As far as I know there is nothing that says "I hold the right to the next beg-selling CCG to be published." There is, as far as I know, a patent on a CCG mechanic that is a valuable IP...

edit, found: dungeon map from 1E &3.0E DMG & Dungeon of the Fire Opal- Issue #84

I used it twice for different groups. Neither one made it into the tomb area; the things I put in the front part always seemd to be enough adventure for the parties. I'll have to dust off that map again!
