    Alignmet help

Overly simplified and inaccurate. Don't listen to every shmuck who comes along. Love can redeem, but a few good qualities alone doesn't make someone 'Good' per se, and neither is death, selfishness, greed, or necessary pain is instantly Evil. Take a man who kills an Evil monster in it's own...

Pathfinder 1E What's broken or needs vast system knowledge?

Don't misunderstand, I completely agree with you, but since you lobbed it right over the plate... The Word. Though we all know no DM would ever let it happen, so technically it's as good as nonexistent. To support your argument, anybody is free to go to any board and find out Full Casters are...

Pathfinder 1E What's broken or needs vast system knowledge?

... Have those guys ever played optimized 3rd Edition D&D? PF is a tad tamer version of 3.5, really - unquestionably harder than 4th Ed., but in all seriousness, if you have half an idea about 3.5., you'd have to actually try your best to create a character who slows the party down in...

Pathfinder 1E What's broken or needs vast system knowledge?

1; The class abilities, definitely. The Paizo guys were so desperate to fix the broken classes, they sometimes overshot. You can't really blame them, though; it is clear by now that 3.x gained sentience, decided it doesn't want to be fixed and resists all attempts with unearthly vigor. The only...

Would you allow this paladin in your game? (new fiction added 11/11/08)

@shilsen After I read the first post, I said there was nothing to be said.(Kind of contradictory...) Then I noticed there were more stories. Having read all of them, I have one complaint. About the poll options, specifically. Why can't we vote 'Hell yes'?

D&D 3.x WotBS (3.5) character help. One hell of a badass cat.

Oh, and also, since the DM is open to sources and uses some Pathfinder rules to begin with, you may want to consider the revised version.

    Raising a Succubus

You would know how to get around that... if you listened to me:.-( Or you did, just decided to act like you didn't? What have I done? Was it the dirty joke? It was the dirty joke, wasn't it. Damn it!

D&D 3.x WotBS (3.5) character help. One hell of a badass cat.

Never having played or DM'd for Manifesters, I for one can only make educated guesses, but I have been once pounded to uncounsciousness during a party split in a warehouse by a Shadowmind. Might have been the first and only encounter I called BS on, because I literally had no idea what was...

    Raising a Succubus

I can't decide whether I should feel ashamed of the fact I laughed out loud after reading this or not. Racial levels are really horribly underpowered. But that's why we had Frank and K around:) I might make use of myself in this thread after all... The variant rules from Races of War for...

    Raising a Succubus

Yes, on Page 18. If you consider them valid Devils(I certainly do), then you've disproven me. Cheers. I agree completely. If we said the abilities are dependent on their evil nature, this Succubus was nevertheless born in the Abyss. I'd say it would take several generations for those abilities...

    Raising a Succubus

EDIT: Misunderstood what you said, sorry. All Fiends can have children, they just don't, at least not between themselves. They are not interested in starting a family and need hell of a reason to be bothered to deliver kids.

    Raising a Succubus

Uh... There is no such thing as a baby succubus. I don't know about other editions, but in 3rd. Ed. core, neither succubi nor othe Tanar'ri demons are 'born' in the traditional sense. They are metamorphed petitioners. The Fiendish Codex clearly states this multiple times. The closest thing they...

    Seeking adventure inspiration

Bugbears in the desert! This is a whole new level. Can't decide of what, but I sure do like it!... Still not playing on the net, I assume? :(

Details. Helios and Apollo are both Greek names and originally refer to different, only loosely related beings. The Roman equalient of Helios would be Sol, while Apollo stayed under the same name even after the Imperials adopted him into their Pantheon.

    Intelligent Relic Item Creation

I like the flavor of the idea. I get excited just imagining the roleplay you can squeeze out of the situation!:D I'd also like to point out you don't have to limit yourself with the strict rules form the DMG. You're free to create an item on your own, or at least use the more open guidelines...

    Intelligent Relic Item Creation

Maybe have the face only mimic expressions. Regarding usefulness, speech is miles above and beyond empathy, though emphatic links are harder to block or detect. An item would certainly benefit from having both. On the sidenote, if you refer to talking swords as silly, you do not know the...

    Intelligent Relic Item Creation

Okay, let's go through this, one by one. 1. As you wish. You already have an idea, a good one at that. Though you did say 'how' - If that was what you meant, I'd point out the Pathfinder rules for intelligent item creation. Paizo be blessed, they did manage to craft a better, more open...

    Wizards and healing spells

Right now? I'm the gish of a party of two, my partner being a bigoted cleric I bribed with brandy, in the middle of a cave in Lordran where we were 'directed' by an undead miner, trying to rub taint-ridden flora off of my shoes. Why do you ask?:/

Agreed. There are people who cast Fireball at your place? I envy the simplicity of your existence.
