    Summoner Luna Lovegood

Start with Wizard (conjurer specialized), then start Archivist, follow up with Mystic Theurge. You are mostly based on INT and have a familiar, and have access to all the appropriate spells, but alas, you will have the slight level lag that all MT's carry. In my opinion, this is overshadowed...

    Copyrights in a campaign tiddlywiki

If your wiki is private, then you have little to worry about as well. If you are sharing your material with the general public, then I would suggest posting OGL, and disclaimers otherwise. Or simply post links to material hosted elsewhere such as to www.d20srd.org or similar locations.

    DM or GM?

Referee... see signature below for Star Frontiers material which uses the term Referee.

Seeking dry erase board with one-inch grid

Get a blank white board, then use black pin-striping (tape) to apply a grid. A little work but you can save a lot this way... and if the tape wears, you can always redo periodically.

    Modifying the thri-kreen

If you are going to do a redesign of Thri-kreen, you might as well start from scratch. Drop the HD down to 1 (removing racial HD from equation), have the 4 legs be one of the major racial factors - affecting carry capacity (as noted above), remove the Paralysis bite (but leave the bite), 2 arms...

Why is charisma associated with spellcasting?

That actually makes a lot of sense. How would a change like this upset the system (as in all the existing material, classes, races, etc.) Would it be necessary to 'reset' the entire game to make this change?

    I'm done with 3.5

http://www.basicfantasy.org/ Like the Basic/Expert edition http://www.knights-n-knaves.com/osric/ Sorta like AD&D http://www.starfrontiersman.com/ Original Star Frontiers rules... remastered. Very Cool, and lots of extra stuff as well. And the best part is that all of these are FREE!!

Why is charisma associated with spellcasting?

I see will power, or force of will, as being associated with Wisdom personally. I think it was a design decision to have CHA be associated with 'something/anything' more than anything else (and because WIS already had associated spellcasting), and has since been propagated to other situations...

    Star Law Resources (d20 Future)

There are old Dragon Magazine articles (Ares) with additional details for a game, albeit still based on original rules and not D20. The Dragon Magazine CD would be a great resource to find these.

Interesting PC races for a ancient greek/roman setting

Bloodlines could be used liberally in Greek/Roman mythos, especially given the deities' propensity for propagation, as well as all the satyr, centaur, nymph connotations. Sexual themes are rife in the mythos.

Interesting PC races for a ancient greek/roman setting

A cyclops style brute race. Some sort of siren or magical water fey. A harpy sort of hag-like race might be cool. If I think of more I will add them.

    Fixing the Assassin

Funny, I would have thought that a non-magical assassin would be the 'fix'. But that just my own opinion.

    Batman as a D&D character

I would make him Monk/Ninja/Fighter, with his levels weighted mostly towards the Monk levels, then Ninja, and followed up with Fighter levels picking bonus feats that augment the already formidably monk abilities.

Spellless paladins and rangers. Bonus feats worth giving up spellcasting?

The spells a Paladin gets are marginal at best, but having several feat slots to devote to 'paladin-ish' feats (call them sacred, divine, exalted, etc) would be helpful. I personally would go for that variant myself, as I am a player who enjoys the Paladin character type (but seldom ever gets...

Skit skat skoodle do flip flop flee!

If someone starts "Bippity bippity doo wop razzamatazz skoobie doobie bee bop a lula shabazz!" in a game that I am running, then I am likely to throw dice, a book, or even a brick, depending on how obnoxious the player continues to be. ;) That noise rates right up there with Mimes for sheer...

    Archivist and....wisdom?

Conversion: Fantasy Rules into Star Frontiers
