A friend of mine paid 100k for a single arrow in a high-powered game. Of course, that arrow had the effect of a nuclear missile, allowing him to beat an Elder Prismatic Dragon when he was level 3, but... ^_^

If you just mean something 1st levels can be competent in at first, but which could extend far past 1st level, I'd go with the World's Largest Dungeon, hands down.

It's going to suck, and I'll tell you why: you only get XP from quests. You AREN'T ALLOWED to just grind (kill monsters for fun and XP). It's absolutely stupid.

Receiving a saving throw means it CAN be affected. Thus, it CAN affect that enemy's magic longsword, as long as it fails its save.
