It occurs to me that EB might not actually be an intrinsic class feature, but rather an invocation. If warlocks get access to the whole arcane spell list, the rationale for a lot of invocations fades away.

You didn't say "super advanced fighting style", so it doesn't count.

I am sure there will be plenty of new fighting styles, but I am not sure they intrinsically solve any problems for warriors. Barbarians and fighters aren't really suffering in the combat effectiveness department, and I doubt there is a fighting style that is going to solve the monks' problems...

It is funny how "we only stole part of your gimmick" is okay for warriors, where it isn't for the other groups. I mean where is the petition for barbarians to get "limited expertise" or sorcerers to "channel magic" (although now that I think about it....).

I like that, or they could borrow from the 4e warden (or the 5e Otherworldly Aspect spell) and you part of the appearance (and some helpful melee abilities) of the ally. It could even be simplified by have a "kit" for each domain.
