Pirates of the Caribbean 4 - Coming in 2011

AFAIC, Orlando's better than Affleck ... Ben, not Casey.

OneNote a GMs holy grail :) (In case youve never used MS OneNote)

Dude, if you can write a multiple-part how-to article series on using MS OneNote as Game Aid tool -- either for Dragon or Johnn Four's e-zine Roleplaying Game Tips Weekly -- I'd be friggin ecstatic. ;)

Fallout 3 Has Gone Gold; System Specs

EXACTLY. That's all I want. I mean, honestly, who here would shell out $40 just to see the computer game boot up only?

Pirates of the Caribbean 4 - Coming in 2011

Nah, let's find another girl for Jack to flirt and trade blows with. As for Orlando, his star may be fading, but he can always make a comeback like John Travolta. After all, he's not Ben Affleck. :p

    odd computer problem.

What installed program was playing music? Is it in the Startup folder? Is it music or a computer sound? Does your grandparents know the proper way of shutting down the computer? Does the PC have a separate Spyware program? (I use Norton for firewall and anti-virus; Spy Sweeper for spyware and...

Fallout 3 Has Gone Gold; System Specs

Just curious, do we really need minimum and recommended system requirements for computer games? Can't we just have one (preferably the recommended requirements)?

    V to return to TV...

I wondered what happened to the two hot chick actresses. I hope it's a lot more scarier with a bit more political scheming than the original campy-feel series.

    Our Civic Duty

In the months before the elections, I always receive a yellow card from the election office confirming my name, address, and where is my polling place. This year, since I have moved residence, I re-registered so I can vote at the nearest polling place. Is it safe to assume such a procedure is...

    Girls and Comics

True, they don't read comic books.

    Our Civic Duty

That reminds me. I have to send in my application for mail-in absentee voting ballots. I hope I'm alive when I can just cast my ballot at home ... online.

    Girls and Comics

And what about those who are not artists? Would they be willing to buy "American manga" (and I'm not talking about Japanese comics being imported through an American distributor)?

    Girls and Comics

Isn't that the same thing as they "succeed to attract" me? Well, I knew some girls in my days that are attracted to [school] fights.

What repulse them about superhero comics? It can't be the "image" factor, is it?

    Girls and Comics

So, what sort of manga superheroes would appeal to females? Or do they like non-hero format like Archie? [High-School] Romance novel with pictures, perhaps?

    Girls and Comics

I know they're reading comics. I just don't see an equal number of females reading comic books as males. Is it because the majority of them view comic books as a male thing as we view Barbie Dolls and Bratz as a female thing? (Not that I'm rushing out to buy a Ken doll soon, mind you.)

What is Expected from an Oriental Game Setting?

Actually, I liked it. Kurosawa knew how to take a Western tale and put an Asian spin on it. But WotC don't have a "Kurosawa." P.S. While I liked The Seven Samurai, I didn't like the Western adaptation, The Magnificent Seven.

    Girls and Comics

Heh. I wonder if the next article will be about "Guys and Dolls." Oh wait, they prefer to call them "action figures." :p Actually, I agree with BeaucoupKevin: it's marketing or lack thereof. So, how do you make comic books appealing to girls and women, without putting out pink covers (unless...

4E GSL - non core references

Yeah, I'm still not convinced. 3e spoiled me, or rather the d20 System spoiled me. I'm more of a d20 gamer today than a D&D gamer back in the 80's, and proud of it. Guess I'll have to wait.

What is Expected from an Oriental Game Setting?

Like Duel to the Death? Legend of the Devil? Abarenbo Shogun? My argument is not on historical accuracy, just cultural integrity. I'm worried that the designers see samurai of Japan as representative of all "knights" in Asia, as you would with all "knights" of Europe. Then again, I'm just a...
