    Star Trek RPG

I prefer LUGTrek since it feels most like Trek, and I have been a fan of Trek more than a fan of Star Wars. FASATrek came at a time when it feels militaristic to me. It is especially fun to play with the starship simulator complete with station panels and counters. My only gripe is the...

If Gene Splicing Became Legal And Was Available Today, Would You Get Spliced?

You wouldn't have to wear clothes ... ever?

If Gene Splicing Became Legal And Was Available Today, Would You Get Spliced?

Unfortunately, you forgot to splice in a firewall, so your storage capacity will be filled with spamming. :p

If Gene Splicing Became Legal And Was Available Today, Would You Get Spliced?

Nah. Don't want them hirsute hippies hanging on my wood. ;) What about a sequoia?

No news of a 4th ed D&D game, YET? :/

I prefer MUD, when it was free to play.

No news of a 4th ed D&D game, YET? :/

It's still possible. Unfortunately as you said, real-time gaming is more preferred by gamers these days, mainly MMO-type gaming. Only old-school gamers like me prefer the style that Fallout 3 and KOTOR offer.

Which team will win Super Bowl XLIII?

Oh ye Arizonian of little faith. :p

So, has everyone pretty much given up on Smallville?

Meh. I find some of the earlier comic-book version of Lana far more annoying. She was like Chloe, a best friend who have a crush on Clark, minus the journalist with an eye for the strange.

No news of a 4th ed D&D game, YET? :/

Atari needs to contract Obsidian to develop any licensed D&D game.

So has the D20 STL been officially revoked?

Personally, I prefer Pathfinder to be a successor to 3.x ruleset. I also prefer they DO NOT revoke the OGL. OGL is still a good thing, even if it is not limited to the d20-based ruleset set out by WotC.

So has the D20 STL been officially revoked?

WotC's top priority is getting 4e out so they can make money. Sorry, but when a key player of the "open gaming movement" -- namely former VP Ryan Dancey -- is no longer there, GSL is becoming less and less important. Oh, they'll get around to it, assuming their Legal Team have no more...

So has the D20 STL been officially revoked?

What do you want them to do about that? You have to be brain-dead not to think that 4e is coming. You have to be brain-dead that 4e is not coming before 2010. Sure, you asked that direct question directly to WotC, while they were secretly developing 4e since 2005, and you expect them to spill...

So has the D20 STL been officially revoked?

They can, if they exercise their right of ownership to their trademarks. After all, by accepting the d20STL, you acknowledge WotC's ownership of the listed trademarks and not contest nor challenge them. You could always bring the argument to court.

    LOST gets cancelled...

You've been flash-forwarded. Or probably just a producers' joke taking a stab at ABC for canceling a handful of good shows like Pushing Daisies and Eli Stone.

    The Spirit

Tom is only good if he has a minor role in the film, like in Tropic Thunder (didn't immediately recognize him in all those makeups). As a leading actor ... post Risky Business ... he sucks.

Forked Thread: Remember This... Time Travel... What would you do?

To stop StreamOfTheSky from interfering with the timeline. At all cost.

    Non-OGL Monsters

Some didn't want to bother. Some material probably have reference or citations to WotC's copyrighted material that the d20 license would allow. Removing the citations within the Covered Product would also be a hassle.

Interesting post over at Grognardia today regarding Gail Gygax

Screw those who need to be calmed. Sometimes you can't give a date after looking at Gygax's notes and how to organize them. Let's give Gail and her crew some room to compile her husband's notes. And for those above who need to be calmed but know they will die tomorrow, at least they can ask...
