Again, you are over simplifying what the kid did. He didn't just cheat, he created a video showing others how to get the cheat, install and use it. He was given the chance to take down the video, but he wouldn't. Epic can't just sit by and allow people to promote something that ruins the game...

Did you read the article that you linked to? It says that they are also suing the people that they believed created the cheating software.
