Thanks for supporting the project! The goal is very much to stretch the new rules a bit and provide a challenge for experienced players. Based on the devious encounters, skill challenges, and new monsters proposed so far, I think it's well on its way.

Wrath of the River King Open Design is already underway with a 4th Edition adventure called Wrath of the River King. I expect the patron conversation to continue turning into a dissection of 4E adventure design. Currently working out monster/encounter pairings.

The project wrapping up right now, Blood of the Gorgon, is quite a winner. I think Eberron fans in particular will get a kick out of the plotting and mayhem. "The Red Maiden awaits all heroes, her blood is the blood of victory."

Patrons have a TON of influence, especially in the early stages of the outline and early drafts. Lots of plot suggestions, monster ideas, and location/encounter wishes have become part of earlier Open Designs. I've been really pleased with the thoughtful critique and the smart, smart choices...

They haven't released the GSL. They've announced that they are going to release it. I think this is roughly the third time they've announced it (October, January, and April). Current ETA for the GSL is June, but it has slipped several times already. So, I'm pretty sure that the GSL is unrelated...
