Another woefully disappointing episode. Like Lost, the makers of this show have taken their viewers for granted. I waited the whole season for the show to get better, and I got a contrived pile of junk. I will repeat what I've said before - toss this season's writers out of the airlock.

Yay! Finally an episode where the bad guy wins! Of course he won Lana, so he kind of lost. I still wish Johnathan Kent lived and Lana bit it. I liked that character a lot more. Controlled anger beats confused whining every time.

That was a pretty clever quip for the androgenous elf. It was no "treasure type O" or anything, but it gave a little giggle.

QFT I'd like to run a more story oriented game, but not everyone in my group wants to do that. There's a delicate balance sometimes when trying to maintain everyone's expectations of the game.

I have no real issue with the plot. My issue is with the half-assed execution of the plot. There was a day where this show could do anything and I would stand with it. Now, I whine n moan about, and then watch it again and again, hoping to find something redeeming.

For yourself get Excite Truck. It's a fun racing game for people hate racing games. You earn points for crashing and style, not just being first. For your wife try Wario Smooth Moves. It's a bunch of silly games (I don't like them) that require you to do various motions with the controller...

From experience: Rogue/Warmage - Heavy damage with the occasional sneak attack thrown in. Druid/Wizard(conjurer) - Never enter melee again, have tons of summoned allies do it. With UA options you can tweak it even further and summon a little quicker.

Ever since Exodus this show has sucked.

It doesn't come up all that often, but I think of the flanking bonus as more of an AC penalty since the target has to split his attentions between two targets that are hostile to him and not each other.

Other than maybe Kingdoms of Kalamar, I can't think of any game setting that deals with the level of minutae you're wanting. If you like the rest of the Midnight world enough, then make the changes. Or does it ignore the little things so much that it is impossible to reconcile it with your wants?

I generally give it long enough for the DM to show his good and bad. For good or bad sometimes you find out in 10 minutes, other times you finally realize it on the 4th session.
