Do Tariffs Apply To RPG Books? Maybe, Maybe Not!

I worked with Quebecor Media for many years. They printed high-quality 4-color process travel magazines for me. We did 200-page brochures. Starting at 10,000 copies. Softcover, glue bound, with mat or glossy UV. https://www.quebecor.com/en/printing-and-distribution The other player I worked...

Do Tariffs Apply To RPG Books? Maybe, Maybe Not!

We have the forest and the paper is produced 100 Kms from Montreal. It's all very cost-effective. ;-)

Do Tariffs Apply To RPG Books? Maybe, Maybe Not!

One can voice wishes. Sometimes surprising things happen! Montreal has an excellent printing industry sector. The low Canadian dollar is advantageous against the Euro and the Pound. We also have an international port with established train and trucking routes into the US. Green Ronin often...

What Do YOU Want The Future of TTRPGs To Look Like?

In the future, I would like a soloable online AI 3D experience that can handle real role-playing with NPCs.

Do Tariffs Apply To RPG Books? Maybe, Maybe Not!

Dragonbane by Free League is a non-US alternative. They should set up a distribution hub in Canada and avoid going through the US.

What Mundane Details Are Important In Your Fantastical Game/World?

Latrines. You want to make sure the dominant wind blows in the right direction. Underground, a nice shaft going deep down an empty cave or river is preferable.

RPG Archive: Star*Drive for D&D and Traveller

Alternity (1997) came out at the wrong time for me. I was heavily invested in Magic the Gathering, and even though I liked the book's looks, I did not have the funds to start a new RPG. We played AD&D2e and Star Wars WEG until 3e came out. By then I was done with MtG.

    The Bondsman (Prime)

We finished watching the first season last night. It was entertaining. Kevin Bacon plays an anti-hero bounty hunter. With his rugged and tired look, he is perfect for the role. If you liked Supernatural, you might like this. The ending allows for a second season. No idea if it will continue.

RPG Archive: Star*Drive for D&D and Traveller

I ran a Star*Drive campaign mixed with elements of Star Frontiers with d20 Future. The players were on the same page as me, and it was fun.

If you are looking for something different. Soloable. I'm getting the PDF. Through collaborative storytelling and...

I am surprised I am still excited for Daggerheart

People should stop getting bent out of shape because we do not have the same criteria to evaluate a publisher and if we will buy a specific game. But I should know better, this is EnWorld afterall, and members defend their statements as if they are in front of a Doctorat jury. /i'm out of this...

They did not use hexes for maps first. Avalon Hill had the Outdoor Survival game 1972, which is referenced for use in Original D&D. There are NPC random tables in OD&D in the Castle section and Wandering Monster section. https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/1511/outdoor-survival

Well, if it does, Morrus should take over the topic! I don't want to edit the OP for the next 2-3 years!

I am surprised I am still excited for Daggerheart

Interesting, but it's not from Darrington Press. Most buyers want new material by the creators of the game. Otherwise they feel it's 'dead' or 'abandonned'. Which ties back to the other thread by SlyFlourish.
