Does anybody have conversion for the MONSTERS, to like attack the pc's with? I don't use Dragonborn in my games since I play in FR and use the grey box set.

Does anybody know of a conversion? I am going to use them in the HoTDQ...yes its cheesy.:cool:

I do it like 1e. Hard to make and expensive yet deceptively common. Does not make sense but it works.

Not everyone reads the same books or any books. I did not become a heavy reader until high school, and was already using FR in middle school.

This is what I am worried about.

Ok the reason I am asking is a player asked if he could run the variant human and he likes to build power characters based on my experience.

I am going to be running a game on sat for the first time and I normally run 1e or PF.

Are you using feats? Also the human variant?

I like it but I play in the 1e/2e version of the realms, even in 5e. 4e never happened and never will.

If in 1e if a player wanted to play a paladin and didn't meet the mins we would just put his best rolled stats at the min needed to be that class. Yes I still do this in 1e.

We play 1e and PF, but will be running a 5e in the near future. We have never had problems with the wizards outshining other classes, especially in 1e. Not sure why they went the way they did with wizards, but since I will be the DM its not my problem. :) I will let the wizard players worry...

This is the play style I prefer and we have mostly done. Since I still run 1e as a DM its not a problem for us, but I am flexible and have let people come in with higher level characters. As a player in past 1e game I hated dying but bringing in a young buck was a lot of time fun as heck. Also...
