    Un-sticky a list that's been replaced?

Since Mistwell has said that he's no longer maintaining his copy of the Collection of Guides, in favor of Yunru's wikified one, perhaps the defunct one should be un-stickied? http://www.enworld.org/forum/showthr...=1#post7214485

Human Fighters Most Common Race/Class Combo In D&D

Wow. I'm kinda intrigued by the way this thread has gone COMPLETELY away from the original post, but not "read six pages of comments" worth.

A Collection of D&D Class Build Guides - the Wiki Thread

I've tried editing the wiki post multiple times but it just ignores my edits and reverts back. What's going on?

D&D 5E (2014) [Guide] How to Win Fights and Intimidate People (Another Barbarian Primer)

Barbarian Guide, Part 3 Optional Class Features (TCE): Tasha has two suggested add-on features for Barbarian. (In testing they were replacements for Danger Sense & Fast Movement.) Primal Knowledge: You get free bonus skills at 3rd & 10th level. Sure. Instinctive Pounce: You get a free half move...

D&D 5E (2014) [Guide] How to Win Fights and Intimidate People (Another Barbarian Primer)

Barbarian Guide, Part 2 The barbarian's level 1-5 features are great, and 6-8 can be decent, but levels 9-18 are too little, too late, or both. The level 20 capstone is powerful, but it isn't worth staying single class to get there. Players going to upper levels in the official rules should use...

D&D 5E (2014) [Guide] The Gentleman’s Guide to Proper Barbarism

This guide is unfortunately out of date. Lots of new content since the initial PHB that isn't covered.

    D&D 5E (2014) PHB Feats taken - RESULTS

p.s. if we rate thieves tools at 2 points along with skills, I'd argue that disguise kit is almost as useful, possibly also alchemist, herbalism, and poisoner, since they can craft things with significant adventuring utility. They're all more likely to matter than cobblers tools, chess, or flute...

    D&D 5E (2014) PHB Feats taken - RESULTS

Also agree that expertise is worth a point more than proficiency. Another factor to consider is thematic consistency. There should be a slight bonus when all of the features make good sense together, or equivalently a small penalty if the combination of benefits is an a la carte mishmosh. IMO...

D&D 5E (2014) Send a party to get an item/loot, how to keep them to their contract?

You're approaching this the wrong way. A contract is a good plot hook to use if the party is mostly lawful / honorable / charitable. If your group is more self-serving, then you should choose a different hook. Do they have a social obligation where breaking the contract would cause more...

    D&D 5E (2014) PHB Feats taken - RESULTS

After going through the thread, here's a fully generalized version of Skilled that subsumes Linguist, Weapon Master, and ordinary ASIs. TRAINED You gain any combination of the following benefits, adding up to 8 points: 4 points: Increase one ability score by 1, to a maximum of 20. 3 points...

    D&D 5E (2014) PHB Feats taken - RESULTS

Leaving out the issue of armor, here's some small bump ups for the less loved feats: Healer: You gain Medicine skill proficiency. Inspiring Leader: You can use the Help action to grant a creature who can hear you advantage on their saving throw to end an ongoing effect next turn. Mage Slayer...

D&D 5E (2014) What PHB feats has your party taken?

mostly ASIs, but... 3 Var Humans with Feats: Resilient (Con) & Spell Sniper Crossbow Expert Alert All the non-human characters at my table only took ASIs. All told about 15 ASIs vs 4 feats.

D&D 5E (2014) Polymorph at higher levels - no beasts left?

Obvious option, retaining the Beast limitation: At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, you can target one additional creature for each slot level above 4th. The targets must all be within 30 feet of each other, and all affected targets transform...
