Beast Heart Adept ideas? Mounted archer vs. Pokewrangler

Although the BBEG with a bunch of Meat Shield monsters IS thematically appropriate, agreed?

Beast Heart Adept ideas? Mounted archer vs. Pokewrangler

Ranger Wickett seems like a good guy, but he has a tendency to play gimped up PC's methinks =)

Beast Heart Adept ideas? Mounted archer vs. Pokewrangler

no, Frank, I'm thinking of the proposed level 5 Wizard, level 5 beast heart adept, thats 7 bab, 2 from wizard, 5 from BHA, 5d4 hp + 5d8 hp (averages to 10d6, with only 4 hp from 1st level) and only 5 levels of spellcasting, from being a level 5 wizard. Not to mention a feat on a 4hd shocker lizard.

    PrC for a Fighter/Thief

I really like the Rogue 3/Swashbuckler 17 with Daring Outlaw. Level 20 with 19 bab, 10d6 sneak, lots of good skill points, nice skill list.

unfortunately not Finally settled, sunder and attacks of opp

Hypersmurf has written about 33 posts of proofs on why Sunder is ruled the way it is. In all the previous threads, someone trotted out Skip Williams opinions as though they mean something.(They don't.) Skip has a very bad habit of using his house rules in his "Official" articles, including slow...

Beast Heart Adept ideas? Mounted archer vs. Pokewrangler

Seems pretty weak for a level 10 character. Poor HD, poor bab, level 5 spell casting, and a couple of monsters?

unfortunately not Finally settled, sunder and attacks of opp

This is from Skip Williams, the guy who just this very week said in an article on WoTC that "Dwarves make poor melee combatants because they are slow, and GET EVEN SLOWER when wearing armor"? We are trusting his rules knowledge over the RAW?

Remind me which were the b0rken White Raven maneuvers again?

I actually said "Raise City" and its along the same lines as "Raise Skeletal Fleet" and"Raise Death Hulk". Some pdf on necromancy, Raise City allows the raising of all skeletons/remains within a 100 mile area. Fun times.

Who's got the right stuff for League of Extraordinary Gentlemen 1990s?

The 19th century didnt really have comics, or whatnot, so literary figures like Dracula, and such make total sense. The pulp literature of the 20th century was comic books and tv, so moving the paradigm makes some sense. I loved the idea of some of the characters, though, like Charlene McGee...

Perhaps I am at work and dont have my books here, but isnt RSoP 1/2 bab? If it isnt, it sure is in my campaign.

    Most broken prestige classes?

It doesnt out cleric the cleric. It out heals and out turns the cleric. It doesnt outfight the cleric. It doesnt outblast the cleric. It doesnt outlive the cleric. Clerics have better hit die. Clerics have better BAB. Clerics thus fight much better, and tank much better than RSoP. Clerics Blast...
