Actually I was looking for articles from before 3.X. There was at least 2 on animals (whatever their type might be now) that were bred by the demihuman* races for various uses. *I dislike the term, but it does apply.

The Game Mechanics (and thus Green Ronin for the print version) did add to the Urban Arcana version with Modern Magic. Lesser Incantations are elemental in theme but can be used for just about any effect up to about 6th level. It should be hard to expand them to all power levels if you wanted.
