    [3.x] 3rd Party Hidden gems?

Since Emerging Forms are gone :( I have been digging around to find something else of use in my collection that is still for sale. Plot Device's colour magic scheme. Chrome, which is the PrCs, is fairly meh, but the rest reorganize all the SRD spells into different themes than the schools 3.X...

    [3.x] 3rd Party Hidden gems?

That's strange, I thought Golems and Goldfish was for Shaping the Self but it is for Flock of Foes (another good product but not in the same league as StS). Best part of G&G is the art for the half-bronze dragon goldfish.

    [3.x] 3rd Party Hidden gems?

Your welcome. There are two free Shaping the Self supplements on Genjitsu's website (one silly and one paragon classes for the other elves, dwarves, gnomes and halflings).

    Fantasy "biotechnology" and other alterations

Another long bump. Imagine, the old Bristish 1e magazine, has an article on fantasy crossbreeding and inducing mutations in issue 18. It is a long, laborious process that has a high failure rate. And when I mean long, I mean generations of specimen breeding and alteration. It doesn't work well...

    [3.x] 3rd Party Hidden gems?

I find it odd that not one book from En Publishing has been listed so far. The Fantastic Science is worth its weight in gold (and is dirt cheap as a POD). And the same for Ronin Arts. There are scores of good pdfs on e23. Primal Urge's Emerging Forms line is the best collection of races in pdf...

    Alternity clone?

Sure there is. I would like to legally write supplements for it. I would give my eyeteeth, left arm and both legs to be able to write up a post apocalyptic setting ala Gamma World and get paid for it. As for Starcaft, the boxset was [censored]. The hardcover planned to follow it would have been...

    Alternity clone?

No, there hasn't been. There was some mention of someone thinking about it, but nothing more. If a clone is to be released, I will write supplements for it. I love Alternity, am a major player on A.net's forum and doubt I will ever get tired of the system.

    Primal Urge Games?

I had some contact with him just before he stopped posting new material. I tried for a couple weeks to get his attention and got nothing. I hope to see more from him since he did an awesome job with the Emerging Forms line.

    Fantasy "biotechnology" and other alterations

Long bump, but Neverwhen from Dragondyne has conversions of the mutations from the 4th edition of Gamma World. Not that they admited it in the text, but the names and effects are identicle. And it is a labor of love that needs a real editor and someone who knows layout badly.

Sci-Fi setting: Aliens, Xenomorphs and originality

I would use the Spelljammer version- the yitsan. It isn't the same by far, but it does fill the same niche and was written to do so.

    Penumbra D20

The only one not yet mentioned that I enjoy is Splintered Peace. Race riots, ethical quandries, hidden villains, well rounded out NPCs and a easy way of determining how bad things are between the races (ie when the riots and attacks start). The city is okay and needs some fleshing out, but Seven...

    Wall-E

What I enjoyed was there was no real villians. Yes, AUTO and gofer (under AUTO's direction) did some unpleasant things, but they did it because they were told to and had good reasons to do what they did. Spoiler on what: What I think the core theme for the human is one that applies to us...

    What's Your Favorite Fluff...Stuff?

Settings: Jakandor, Oathbound, Morninstar, Dark Sun, Spelljammer, Second World, Wonderland (JAGS setting), 13 Colonies (same), Gamma World, Azk'arn (Sorcerer), Mechanical Dream and Lesser Shades of Evil Games: The Collectors, Providence and Army Ants

    Settings where humans not dominant

Oathbound has humans as a slight majority but since there are several thousand races, that doesn't mean much. Mars unless you consider the red martains human. In Gamma World, mutants of all kinds outnumber pure strain humans. Spelljammer- humans were small fry in wildspace for a long time...
