    Has enthusiasm died?

See, a lot of people will say this is cheating, but Urban Arcana is NOT the only D20M setting. The default campaign world for D20M is the one you're sitting in now. New York, that's a part of the campaign world. Egypt? Yes, Egypt is too. It all is. That's where my friend's D20M campaign takes...

    Has enthusiasm died?

Mmm, sky pirates. Among the 1000 ideas I had for campaigns when I got D20 Modern, a late 30's era air pirate campaign was one of the first. It never really got fleshed out because I'm working on other stuff. Part Tailspin, part Crimson Skies with some Indiana Jones and Tales of the Gold Monkey...

Heh, I was going to do this the next time I posted on a subject, but who knows when that would have been. :D

[Poll]Will you buy and use AV's BoEF?

You see, there are so many compelling things to roleplay that have nothing to do with a roll in the hay, I don't know how many groups would feel the need to even bother. I'd have to tie a blind, anemic kobold carrying a magic sword he isn't big enough to use to the farmer's daughter before my...

[Poll]Will you buy and use AV's BoEF?

I rarely get the chance to use the books I already have. None of my players have the time. I might, might, get the BoEF, but only as an oddity. I can't see too many similar products ever getting published. Can you? I can't see myself ever using it in a campaign, and if I needed soft core porn...

    Has enthusiasm died?

I'm with Joshua Dyal, I think all the forums have been slow lately. Since this forum has less traffic on a normal day, slow days are going to make it seem like a ghost town. I just got the Menace Manual and I really like it, it has all kinds of creatures that will fit in the campaign I'm...

I hate to break it to you, but you were actually supposed to go with the last listed subject. You appear to have replied to the last post on the first page. Therefore the next subject is... NEXT: The Humming Stones of Hatterrin Heath

The Stardust Carnival Rilthennia’s hills and dells are the home of many a strange tale. Stories are told by guttering flame of strange things seen on strange nights, but there is a recurring event of surpassing oddity that is witnessed by many each year - and no one realizes it. The Stardust...

    Book of Exalted Deeds Info

It also made an appearance in one of the Planescape books. The release of this book sort of sneaked up on me; I hadn't realized it was coming out this soon.

    Attorney vs Lawyer

They aren't WoTC though. It may sound simplistic, but there it is.

How much does diamond dust weigh?

LOL My teeth are grinding to a fare-thee-well and my mouth is bleeding! Where did you get this $4!#@ salt and why did it cost so ^#&* much?

    Attorney vs Lawyer

WoTC will do the same thing with Alternity/Dark Matter that they did with Planescape. They will NEVER publish a new book based on the property but they will mine it for all it's worth and use the ideas for new books. The new D&D and FR books are riddled with Planescape content. Heck, some...

D&D 3.5 Gift Set - What is in it?

I ordered mine through Amazon. Preorder discount + a gift certificate I acquired = 13 bucks and free shipping. Yummy. If I had employment I'd cry for the brick and mortar stores but I don't, and I don't have a FLGS.

D&D 3.5 Gift Set - What is in it?

I'm still waiting to get mine. I see that the date on EN World's front page has gone from September to October. Why is it taking three months to put the books in a box? As far as I know, the gift set consists of the three core books in a box with some artwork on it. That's it. I hate waiting...

Book of Vile Darkness. Used it?

We use it all the time now. It's added a whole new layer of erotic wonder to the game. Now every session is a symphony of pleasu.... Oh. I thought you meant the BoEF. No we don't use the Book of Vile Darkness, that $%!+ is perverted.

    wackiest historical weapons?

Well, as we can see, wacky and functional are two different things entirely. How about the chakram? I'm surprised no one has mentioned it yet.

    How were flails carried?

A metal ring mounted on some leather with belt loops attached. Your belt goes through the loops, your flail handle goes in the metal ring and simply hangs there. Axes are generally carried the same way.

    wackiest historical weapons?

The Le Mat Revolver. A Civil War era revolver that could fire nine shots AND had a smoothbore barrel underneath the regular barrel. This second barrel was loaded with grapeshot and served as a shotgun. Maybe it's not that weird, but not many people know about it. It's interesting at the very...
