Very cool ideas. My Elves are descended from a Faerie people who were essentially marooned on my world. They eventually evolved into different groups (High/Mithral, Grey/Arcane, Sylvan/Wood, Drow/Dark, etc.) over exposure to the elements of our reality. AD
