LotR too. I love Empire and Raiders, but those series don't have the same consistancy and quality throughout.

This is a pet peeve of mine too. It cool to have superheroes who are indestructable being thrown about loads (like X2 & Superman 2). But when you get morals being wacked around without any consequences it's just weird. MJ would have had several broken bones in the real world. Spoiler...

I'm afraid it didn't work for me. It was too schmaltzy, and too much like bad soap opera. I know the personal life stuff is what works for some people, in which case more power to you, but it didn't do anything for me. I'm not saying it was a bad film, but I don't think it was good either.

It has to be Al-Qadim and Ravenloft for me. Castles Forlorn was amazing. Assassin Mountain and Cities of Bone were also great. These really nailed the gothic horror and arabian nights feel.

That's the problem. I'd love to hear any suggestions on how to deal with it.

I think this is an interesting one to flag. I'm not so interested in totally inverting it (and getting intra-party combat with players killing players), but I think subtly breaking it - so players have different objectives which are at variance with each other - would be very interesting.

I prefer the old logo. Though I love the uncluttered cover look they're going for. That is a really good idea. Frankly, it all depends upon how exactly they interpret what goes where. I'm cautiously optimistic about it though.
