    Twin Strike errata?

On April 1st Twin Strike had five different "errata'd" incarnations. Just a prank.

    How Do You Heal?

If you're going to have low defense strikers you may as well go whole hog and have a party of nothing but strikers and specialize in alpha-striking with Immediates that invalidate the few attacks you take. Otherwise: Don't have gimp party members whose defenses suck and they didn't build-in...

Trying to work around a DM's restriction

Yes, it is. Extra damage is damage added to a power. Which is why extra damage adds keywords. So all damage is being done by the power. Keyword rules say elemental weapons replace all keywords and add their own. Ongoing Damage is Damage done by the power in the RC. Done.

    Essentials rules clarifications

RAW of when non-triggered free actions resolve and can occur has just as much actual rules text as always. I.e., none. Latest podcast says they cannot be taken during any other action at all..... which means you can't interrupt someone speaking. Very polite people in the 4e world. Thankfully...

    Flaming Weapon Stealth Errata?

And.... that has what to do with balance? Actually you proved my point: keywords have nothing to do with balance, and everything to do with thematics: also known as fluff. Let me take you through the process. "I want this power to slow. OK, we usually do that for Cold powers. So this is Cold...

    Flaming Weapon Stealth Errata?

That is speculation... and bizarre speculation, at that. O.o There is zero evidence that powers are in any way balanced with their keywords in mind. Zip. Zilch. Nada. And it is actually the other way around. Being able to convert types makes several builds barely competitive, being forced into...

    Flaming Weapon Stealth Errata?

Weapon of Summer is Heavy Blade only though, so you'd need to MC swordmage or AIP: Heavy Blade. It has been that way since May 2010 btw. If you do a type of damage, the attack gains the keyword. There is no equivocation on this in the rules, and has been confirmed multiple times by dev Q&As...

    Flaming Weapon Stealth Errata?

I'm hoping they'll errata it back to the way it was. All things considered it is a retarded decision, so.

Trying to work around a DM's restriction

Doesn't exist. Your DM is kind of silly. Dragon content isn't any more or less powerful then the book content. Not at all like 3.x.

Switching from bow to swords - how does it work?

So you think there is no conflict about things that are explicit in the PHB? Interesting. If you’re using a projectile weapon to make a ranged attack against multiple targets, you need one piece of ammunition for each target, and if you’re using thrown weapons, you need one for each target...

Switching from bow to swords - how does it work?

There isn't any RAW text which says when non-triggered free actions happen, when they can happen, or when they can't happen. So there isn't an actual rules answer. The latest podcast would suggest that the splitting cannot happen during another action, so you couldn't quickdraw as part of the...

Switching from bow to swords - how does it work?

Thrown weapons are ammunition when used in a ranged attack, actually. The rule is that if you are using non-magical thrown weapons you can draw them as a free action for each target of an area attack, so long as you have enough. Same way if you're dual attacking with a Superior Xbow you can load...

Feat Taxes, or, It's That Time of the Week Again

There's a basic error at work here: 55% vs even level is a minimum. There isn't a maximum (barring 95%, miss on 1). Not designed into the system by intent, at least. So it doesn't matter if one guy is 18+3 and the other is 16+2. They've both achieved the minimum, combats will not go longer then...

Feat Taxes, or, It's That Time of the Week Again

Since they called it a mistake it seems nonsensical to believe they thought it was better, in the end. You believe they changed something and thought it'd be OK. I believe they changed something and didn't realize the impact it'd have (because, lets face it, it their track record isn't good in...

Feat Taxes, or, It's That Time of the Week Again

Again, we don't need to guess. They outright said they changed scaling in some way right before release (though not how) and that it is directly responsible for the issue. They made a mistake, said so, and (from their perspective) "fixed" it. Your faith in the devs perfection is nice, but it...

    Push/pull/slide through enemies/allies?

You're not squeezing. Squeezing, for one, is an action that a creature has to take on its own. Even if you are put in a situation where you would normally have to squeeze, not only don't you, but you can't. The "end legal square" rules come into play and you rewind to that last legal square...

Would It Break The Game If...: All Daily Attack Powers Were Reliable?

Unless you changed every single daily power that isn't currently reliable, yes. It'd break it good.

Feat Taxes, or, It's That Time of the Week Again

My mistake, missed the modifier. ^.^ It still wouldn't solve the overall accuracy problem of the group though (especially not round to round, because the Cleric wouldn't use RB every round).

Feat Taxes, or, It's That Time of the Week Again

Exactly. I'm not speculating on they "Why" they changed it (there may or may not have been a good reason, it could've been sleep deprivation for all we know, deadlines can suck) but the reason isn't relevant. They said, after the community did all the theorycraft, that it was a mistake and it...
