    Who has made D&D great?

For those of us in the UK: Don Turnbull Not only did he have an impact on D&D in general (the Fiend Factory column in early White Dwarf which leant its weight to the original Fiend Folio, as well as the excellent Sinister Secret of Salt Marsh, Danger at Dunwater and The Final Enemy, plus Beyond...

Alright, I will be compiling all of the Gygax FAQ threads, anyone want to help me?

I may be wrong, but I don't think they Archive everything - just the threads they feel are worth archiving. I have no idea if they prune the forums, but there was a major crash some time back which wiped out several months worth of posts. Maybe yours were a part of that missing lot?

Our 50th Session Extravaganza (RHoD spoilers)

Yep, they were all d&d minis. It was a lot of fun having them spread all over the map like that. In all, I think it went something like (with the figure first (and the role it played in parenthesis, if it's not already obvious) x the number of figures on the table: The Horde Hobgoblin...

Our 50th Session Extravaganza (RHoD spoilers)

Spoiler alert: some Red Hand of Doom spoilers follow... We recently ran the 50th session of our present campaign setting, which coincided with the Battle of Ada in the Red Hand of Doom adventure (or the Battle for Brindle, as it is in the module). We decided to meet up on a Sunday for an...

    Products for 2008

Thre has been a lot of speculation about whether this product will be released or not since (I'm pretty sure sure it was) Scott Rouse said they might not release Orcus due to lack of interest. I've included it as we don't know for certain yet.

D&D 4E 3 months in and 7 to go - will YOU switch to 4e?

LOL - thanks :) I'm not sure what I'm going to do with The Kyngdoms. I may well have seperate 3.5 and 4ed sections, or might just make it system free. I'll definately do something with it - just not sure what yet!

    Products for 2008

I've updated the list and included the Eberron Survival Guide and corrected the date for the release of the core 4ed books. Thanks :)

    Products for 2008

Most (if not all) of these products have already been listed elsewhere, but I figured I'd put a list together anyway :) The dates are mostly based on those given by Amazon, so are subject to change. I'm bound to have missed stuff, so if you let me know I'll update the list. March 2008: D&D...

D&D 4E 3 months in and 7 to go - will YOU switch to 4e?

We'll finish our present campaign first. This should last a good long while, so it will likely take us a year or more into 4ed - almost long enough to wait and pick up 4.5 :p The real question for us will be whether we switch once the campaign is finished or whether we stick to 3.5 and...

So, what comes out next for figures?

It's almost certainly the 4ed green dragon. However, it comes as part of the starter set - not sure if it will be repeated as part of Dungeons of Dread.

    Burning a Web spell

We've always played it that the fire spreads into adjacent squares (we usually track it using dice), destroying the web it burns as it goes (and dealing fire damage to those in a burning square).

    Good online tavern map?

I have a couple: The Eight Horns Inn The One Eyed Goblin Both come complete with inn prices, beverage and food costs, plus a bunch of stats for the main NPCs and a general overview.

    I need a classic module - stat!

Good call. I'd forgotten about those. Didn't even realize they'd done Return to the Temple of the Frog. Thanks :)

You can pick them as PDFs from paizo, at $4.00 a piece.

    Three Tiered License

A very good question. I thought that it was specifically talking about the d20 License, which means that I'm still assuming at this point that there will be an OGL that anyone can use. On the whole policing thing, I thinks it smacks of a kind of corporate cronyism. As has already been pointed...

Apologies from HinterWelt to RPG Objects and fans

Nope. It still links to Blazing Jets (for me, anyway). Edit: unless of course you mean they've finally removed the listing from your products, in which case the above point is moot :)

Red Hand of Doom: Score 2 for Koth

Strangely enough, Wyrmlord Stormcaller got away, so I had her lay an ambush for the PCs on their return trip. Didn't think about it for the green dragon.

Red Hand of Doom: Score 2 for Koth

Koth survived in my game as well, so I placed him at the bridge in the second chapter. He didn't really come into play there much, as he just marshalled the troops before the players brought the bridge down (quite quickly), so both he and the green dragon survived. They'll be sure to encounter...
