Would you perchance be able/willing to provide the full text of the feat?

Off the top of my head, I can think of three: Augment Familiar, Enhance Familiar, Fortify Familiar (all of which are listed in the Spell Compendium). Are there any other spells for the combat familiar that I'm missing?

I remember the Magical Artisan ancestor feat from 3.0 Oriental Adventures, and I believe Forgotten Realms had/has an analogous feat with the same name. Does this feat still exist in 3.5? Is it still an ancestor or regional feat? Thanks.

No mention of the archivist (Heroes of Horror)? I'm shocked! :) Spontaneous Healer is a useful feat in this regard, too.

You could also consider the Blade Dancer from Oriental Adventures (it didn't change in the 3.5 OA update) for some insane running speed.

The Improved Familiar feat in the DMG lists the homunculus as a possible option for a familiar, although it's suggested for an undead master.
