I think you are right Waneta. That was the implication I got from it.

When I first heard about the 4e warlock, I was really excited about the vestige pact because I thougt it would make a good ancestor worship style pact. Then it was left out. This is an excellent replacement. Very cool.

This is fine, but I think that I will be treating both as if they were. I will make power cards and everything. I like the power card book keeping dynamic better than checking boxes on a sheet.
