    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder outselling D&D

I think that would depend though. Much of WotC's adventures were subpar in the 3.x era, or not nearly up to the quality of Paizos(something like red hand of doom, and perhaps the return to the temple of elemental evil in 3.5 as exceptions), so no I dont think wotc could survive. But recall...

    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder outselling D&D

How well will it work for 4e when it moves to 5e? Thats not feeling about it at all. Its like me buying your products(digital formate) then when you move on to a new edition, Its no longer accessable. Thats not how I feel, thats something I either have or dont have. I have your war of...

    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder outselling D&D

In a 6 page thread he made the claim that it was overwhelmingly calling for the antichrist of a designer. Even with several posts deleted, that claim in patently FALSE. And you know it No, its not. A handful of bad does NOT EQUATED TO OVERWHELMING CALLING the deisigner names. So yes, its full...

    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder outselling D&D

Thats pretty fair. I'm not sure how well it is or isnt working. There was alot of grumbling around me when they switched character builder and upgraded. But number of users times $10 a month seems good. However, costs and other items have to factor in. The point being that with WotC's move...

    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder outselling D&D

I was there too, and I didnt see half of what he claimed. So unless he can back it up, I call foul. Because remember, it was the OVERWHELMING NUMBER OF POSTS calling him an antichrist. That didnt happen the way he claimed.

    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder outselling D&D

[/I] Depends on what you define as working or not working. They have a ton of subscriptions(54K last number bandied about)....however, you have to balance that against how much the software and developement costs as well as the content.....vs how much it is vs print. 54K times $10 per month...

    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder outselling D&D

No offense, but your full of crap. I was in that discussion, and while heated perhaps about 4e and how its doing, that was NOT the case. Here's the discussion, please point out, out of the 6 pages, the OVERWHELMING number of posts treating him like the antichrist. paizo.com - Paizo /...

    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder outselling D&D

Lets not forget WotC has also promised the game table, character and monster builder, for the playing ability online at a virtual table, which also adds cost as well.

    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder outselling D&D

But when though? Paizo is finishing up its 8th adventure path. They have produced a metric ton of adventures....neither of which seems even remotely reaching saturation point. Their producing a slower rate of books for the actual game which helps alot to stave off saturation.

Playing 2e, 3e, and 4e at the same time: Observations

We use something different, a "intiative DM". DM has his list of iniative, and so does one of the players(in this case me). So we have who is up, and I'm reminding the next person "your on deck" to use a baseball term, so he's already thinking ahead while teh first player is actually...

Playing 2e, 3e, and 4e at the same time: Observations

Our 3.x combats vary in length, some long some short. But have to agree that yeah we used tactial teamwork and some position as well(actuallly we still do).

    5E on the horizon?

As I said take it with as much or little salt. SOme folks with believe, others like yourself will throw dirt. Its simply one more piece to a much larger puzzle. She also said its simply the RPG side. No cards, games or other items(like DDI). But then we start adding other pieces. Summer...

    5E on the horizon?

While that is true we dont have wotc's sales numbers, we do have this tidbit from Lisa Stevens of Piazo, when asked: To be clear, though, you're saying that it's your belief that the Pathfinder brand has a higher sales volume than the D&D brand? If thats the case, then yeah 4e is in real...

    Inherent PC Superiority?

If thats the way you wish to be: I let the players run rampant. Slaughter villages if thats what they want. Its quite heroic.

    Inherent PC Superiority?

Again thats silly. Of course there are. If my idea of running a heroic game is to let the PC's rape, murder, and torture their way from one side of the continet to the other, are you just going to smile and nod in agreement and saying thats heroic?
  17. C

    Inherent PC Superiority?

If thats what he means, then fine. But as he wrote it, I'd have to disagree in the most strongest terms. The PC's put their neck on the line and won the day. Thats still heroic.
  18. C

    Inherent PC Superiority?

So basically, saving the city from an invasion ISNT heroic unless the PCs lose something, or take a loss themselves? Or unless they have some change? Saving all teh people isnt heroic then? Thats silly.
