Dodging Fireballs and other Readied Action Sheneigans

I would not permit this--if you're in the area of effect you're already being hit. You have to go on the information you have before the spell goes off. "If the wizard casts an AOE spell" would be fine but you don't know where it's going to hit unless it shows signs (see my above post...

Dodging Fireballs and other Readied Action Sheneigans

Yes and no. I would permit it but reduce it to giving him improved evasion rather than an auto-succeed. However, there will be situations where it won't work. Say, for example, you're in a 10' corridor and you see a fireball coming your way, what do you do? Your options are basically ahead...

Just for Fun repeat: The "Stupidest Rule" contest

The square-cube law at work. But they're going to figure out there's someone behind that moving tower shield. That's not a stupid rule, that's a stupid monster design.

Using and Abusing the Item Creation rules

Which is overpriced for simply a speech item--note that it does more than simply let you speak a language.

    Hemp rope VS silk rope

Nah, the wishgiver was simply hard of hearing and missed part of the wish.

Can we rename this the thread of bad pronouns?

    Hemp rope VS silk rope

A succubus is capable of conceiving and bearing children--that's female. True, although I doubt there's anywhere in D&D-land with such laws. Nobody could afford to be that much of a nanny-state back then.

    Hemp rope VS silk rope

In most cases I would be inclined to agree with you but the succubus is a special case--her role is to be *FEMALE*. It matters not that she's incapable of reproduction. Is my wife no longer female?

    Hemp rope VS silk rope

There are no non-human pronouns. It's male/female/non-gendered, humanity doesn't matter. People often use the non-gendered form when they don't know the gender of an animal but that's because of not knowing, not because they're not human.

Pathfinder 1E Your experiences with broken Pathfinder characters? (edit: more accurately, w/1 avg PF character when the rest of the party is meh)

Yup, I don't see the problem either. She's a teflon monk as has been referred to upthread. She's not much else, though. Imagine a party made up of a bunch of her--would they fight at level? I rather think not.

    Silly rules thoughts

It sounds like time for Animate Object!

    Silly rules thoughts

If you had it when the resist was cast, or for an extended period while using a permanent item then I would rule you can't light it. If it was recently picked up after the spell was cast (including put down and then picked back up) then it's not protected and burns normally. I figure they...

    Silly rules thoughts

That's how I see it, also. Even if the initial attack lit stuff on fire I would look at the damage from the fire, if it's fully suppressed then so is the fire.

    Teleport Idea

I address the scry-buff-teleport by ruling that scrying doesn't give you enough info to teleport. I let you teleport to: 1) Places you have been. 2) Places you have a suitable description of--anyone who can teleport knows what's needed in the description. It would be unusual for anyone...

You're doing what? Surprising the DM

Actually, if you tried to use dust of sneezing and choking against something I would rule that it gets you instead. It's cursed after all!

You're doing what? Surprising the DM

I had a thought here--this isn't really very useful. You make it disappear, it loses it's gaze for one round but gets an advantage in attacking you with it's natural weapons. That dispels the invisibility and he can use the gaze the round thereafter.

You're doing what? Surprising the DM

So long as they aren't trying to fight saddles usually won't matter. I do agree that climbing would be an issue, though.

101 semi-useless gadgets found in a underdark lair

    26. A wand that unerringly points to the nearest "treasure" (it has no charges, it simply points if allowed to do so.) Unfortunately, the creator of this item was seeking Orc/Centaur porn and that's the only type of treasure it points to. 27. A seeker arrow. It will unerringly find it's...

What's an extravagant reward for (the equivalent of) high paragon PCs?

I would most specifically not make it money, nor anything else that can be bought.
