    Cast at lower DC

Once when faced with a situation like that (lots of secret saves needed) I just had everyone roll a group of d20s (they all had enough) and leave them in a group. I periodically had them reroll the pile. They were all clearly enough marked that I could read them.

    Cast at lower DC

I would do it slightly differently. You can craft an illusion of a failed illusion--there's no DC involved at all to see it as failed. Your approach to really good saves makes sense.

    D&D 3.x [3.5] Most Nerf-Worthy and Ban-Worthy Spells?

I'll vote for teleport. Scry/Buff/Teleport is totally unreasonable. My fix is simple: You can only teleport where you have either been or have been instructed about by someone who has been there and can teleport. (Only someone who can teleport understands what's needed to give directions.)...

What would the Natural Armor and DR be of this character?

Another vote that you're describing DR, not armor.

AD&D 1E Check out what Kinkos did to My 1e AD&D UA

One spiral book isn't going to be a problem, it can just stick out a bit. What happens when you try to put a bunch of spiral books next to each other, though???

    World Building details

The idea of a "year" on a flat world that's the center of the system makes no sense. If we ignore that part of it we can make a world with two seasonal cycles that vary, though: The "sun" is actually two stars in very close proximity, their orbital period is very close to a day but is not...

AD&D 1E Check out what Kinkos did to My 1e AD&D UA

One problem: Books like this don't fit the shelf well.

A wild idea for killing a campaign boss

The summoning spell won't bring the summoned critter inside due to a lack of a place for it. Stilled/silent is certainly possible but you're giving up two spell levels in doing that. I see no reason to think there would be.

    BOEF Errata/Updates?

How do you get that high??

    BOEF Errata/Updates?

Ouch! Somehow I missed that one.

A wild idea for killing a campaign boss

    1) You certainly can't summon while inside the dragon. 2) You probably can't teleport there, either. 3) You'll be taking damage from the dragon's stomach while you're trying to do that. Better kill him very quickly. 4) You're taking damage = concentration checks on the spells. Nasty...

    BOEF Errata/Updates?

Use the material with caution, it was never properly balanced. The most extreme case that I'm aware of: Maximized Beauty's Caress and a Charisma or Appearance based caster.

    Survival in harsh terrain

Preparations means bring supplies and thus negating the whole need of a survival check at all. If you're out in the heat and don't have water that's it, your life expectancy is mere hours. A survival check could allow you to live longer *IN PLACE* (taking shelter from the heat) and wait for...

    Survival in harsh terrain

Why? If you don't make preparations in advance for something like Death Valley in the summer you're going to die. The DC should be very high.

D20 to 3d6 dice rules from Unearth Arcana

The point of 3d6 is that there are very few things that need adjusting. Obviously, you crit on an 18. You do need to tweak a few DCs for tasks meant to be easy or hard--tasks meant to be of average difficulty will be fine.

D20 to 3d6 dice rules from Unearth Arcana

The problem is that 2d10 averages out to 11 instead of 10.5. You need an odd number of dice to keep the same average.

    Ready an Action: valid conditions

I would have a problem with it. "I'll shoot him if he does something" would be valid. The problem here is that if the something he does is casting a spell the guy wants to wait until he's far enough into it to disrupt it. The whole idea of readied actions is that they go fast because there's...

    Good Cleric with Command Undead

Yeah, I was having thoughts along these lines. Allow a turn to simply break control without taking control. They become free-willed with a knowledge of what the necromancer did to them.

    Bow of True Arrows question

It's actually a fairly weak item. If you hit on a 10 then you shouldn't use it, period. It will reduce your damage output. All that it actually does is allow you to inflict some damage even when the target is pretty darn hard to hit.

    Arcane Divine dual-casting classes

I think where you would lose the PrC is if the lost item actually granted something required to enter. Say, a Ring of Evasion and a PrC that required Evasion. Lose the ring and you lose access to all PrC abilities.
