Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

I'm embarrassed I did not think of this obvious solution.

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

I know ground hogs are not badgers but... The ground hog in Ground Day could drive. A bit. With some assistance. Surely a badger with an assistance human could do it if they wanted to.

Spoilers TV Shows with Great Endings

It is hard to look back at Whedon's work from 20 years ago and not see the fedora tipping that is there. Not all of it, by any means. But enough that it makes me shake my head at younger me. I mean, the way Mal talks to Inara in Firefly, what the serious F? And, even though I felt it was...

Spoilers TV Shows with Great Endings

I do like a show where the characters fail to grow or learn. You're the Worst just got put on my list. :)

Spoilers TV Shows with Great Endings

I never watched Lost. I assumed that the show would go on and on and that any tying together of plots would be last minute arse pulls.

Spoilers TV Shows with Great Endings

I liked the end of The Young Ones. It was definitely decisive. Deserved on the other hand... A deserved ending is one that is built towards. The end of The Young Ones was fitting. I think it was just the sort of ending that Rik Mayall and co. were inevitably going to do. Something very final...

Seven Views of Mount Cannoli: Subjective Preferences in Geek Media

Only if you shake it first. (shaken, not stirred!) The more of these snarfticals I read the more often I see Tom Brady mentioned. And every time my first thought is "That's wrong. Tom wasn't one of the Brady kids."

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

I like Ron Swanson. Despite his many flaws. He is an excellent character. Maybe I'm just feeling a bit negative about humanity at the moment. But I just see people failing at media literacy when they watch him. I dunno.

Fighting the Gray Tide (Miniature Painting)

I love the 2 purple mechs, top row middle. They look like they're doing a tap dance together.

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

I see Ron Swanson as a caricature. I know many, maybe most, people do not. And I suspect you're right and he will indeed age badly.

D&D General Greyhawk: Spy v. Spy

I like one working as counter espionage for the Order of the Watch. Not Ket, hey? Hmm. Tough call then. Ok, something a bit wacky - vampires. Some more or less independent count is looking to start trouble between Ket and Bissell. More mayhem allows them more freedom to act abominable. So...

D&D General Updating non-human pantheons for the new world orc-der (+)

One gets rid of "racial" gods entirely and makes any given religion specific to a culture or cultures. As others up thread have said, you can simply have different cultures refer to the same gods by different names. Once, long ago on these forums, I made the association of Gruumsh with Odin...

D&D General The History of Alignment: Why D&D Has the Nine-Point Alignment System 4 UR Memes

Hold my beer. I work at an archive. I digitise old movies and such. There is a university campus next door to us. Said university has a course on archiving. About once a year we get a tour group of students from said course; we show them what we do. All fun and games. Earlier this year: <me>...
