    D&D General Greyhawk Humanocentricism?

This post? Dude, you clearly completely misread my post. When it was politely pointed out to you you replied with this non-sequitur. Does it stand? As a statement? Sure. Does it address the fact that you misunderstood what I was saying? Nope. Just to recap The post of mine that you misread...

    D&D 5E (2024) Check Out The New Dungeon Master's Guide's Greyhawk Map

Well, now we can clearly see that the town of Calbutt, in the northern part of Tenh, is very cleary called CALbutt and not CATbutt. Which makes me sad. Otherwise I quite like it. If they wind up selling this as a stand alone prodcut it might become the first DnD product I've bought this century.

I AM KING OF THE WORLD! Ranking James Cameron's Films

I'd put Aliens at #1. Then T1, then T2. After that? M'eh, I have no opinion. But if we are allowing Battle Beyond the Stars, then Battle Beyond the Stars heads the B-grade section. Love that movie. I mean, if you're gonna remake Seven Samurai, remake it bad. Real bad.

Oh yeah. That right there is a benefit for new players of Greyhawk. That depth of other material that they can use, or not.

    D&D General Greyhawk Humanocentricism?

Beaten to the punch but I still need to say it: Warforged are a crunchy coating around a gooey meat centre. Inserting them into Greyhawk, and keeping much the same backstory of being created as weapons for a cataclysmic war, would require Greyhawk to have had some sort of cataclysmic war...

D&D 5E (2024) WotC Invites You To Explore the World of Greyhawk

I'm feeling pretty lonely here. My current home campaign started in year 505. I am totally on board with the Greyhawk Wars and After the Ashes. It's provided some significant adventures in the game. e.g.: Greyhawk city has doubled in population thanks to refugees fleeing the wars. The PCs have...

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

I do! Sometimes a white sauce or olive oil and salt is just what I want. :) I'm lucky, I have 4 really good pizza places within a short drive of me. And they all do various sauce/topping combos. I'm told there's even some that have pineapple as an option.

I like that! A very literal interpretation of their names. Aside: I don't recall tiger folk or Vulfen from my RM days. Then again, my RM days are 30 years past.

D&D 5E (2024) WotC Invites You To Explore the World of Greyhawk

I think the reason any given campaign setting resonates with any given person is due to whatever conceits that that campaign setting has. And certainly "humanocentric" is a long established conceit of Greyhawk. I have to say it's not one I've personally ever much cared about. Look, we're old...
