Only read the OP. I would like to add that I give bennies for different things than I give XP for. You get bennies for bad jokes (in or out of character); doing something unusual and clever, or at least hilarious, in character; snacks. Other stuff as the mood takes me.

This was pretty much my first thought on reading the OP. But one thing I think that falls under power creep was when 5th ed. expanded on what you could do with autofire attacks.* I think that added a lot of oomph for minimal points cost. Then again the rules for the various skip fire, etc. etc...

There's a strong cathartic element to the violence in games and media in general. People like catharsis. It's a thing. But how any one person feels about the framing of that violence in any given situation is going to vary a lot. Which is to say, the catharsis one can get from a piece of media...

This was most definitely a movie. It appealed to the 12 year old in me. I wouldn't worry about any wider MCU implications. It's a Deadpool movie. Also it seems Marvel are pulling away from mulitverses. Thankfully.

Don't know how I feel about this. Season 1 was good. Season 2 was mostly good (that ending though... blergh!) Season 3 was obviously pretty lost in terms of what to do with the plot. Season 4 was a total sh!t show. But I'm sure I'll watch it sooner rather than later. Hope they keep the same...
